Seriously, I thought he was often intelligent. He was one of my favorite members of the "dark humor" gang. I guess the barrage just got to him. Nevertheless I can't say he and/or/same JC handled it all that well. In the end it creeped me out too. Just about the only way he could prove he wasn't stalking was to become completely silent and disappear. Such is life.

I'm sure he's still lurking around in some guise or another. I think it has been rather nice around here during his absence. This is the sort of attention that encouraged him all along. I think he has proven that he was FFF/JC by the way he handled the whole thing and by his subsequent silence.

It just really astonishes me when people up and disappear from this board after a fight. Yes, I understand that people get upset and that their feelings get hurt, but why run away?

 

We've seen such people as JizzdePapi, DCEscortBoy, JasonReardone, Shadow, etc all leave the board after some nasty arguments.

 

I've been the subject of some nasty words on accasion, but you'd never see me quit because of it. I wouldn't give the other parties the satisfaction.

If you go back and read FFF's posts, he made it clear that he thinks escorting fucks up your emotional life, etc. So I ask you: If you want to be emotionally abused, would you come here, take the abuse and go away with nothing, or would you go with a client and get abused for 200/hr?

In a word, "No." I am sure he is happily posting away under a new identity. And he certainly isn't the only one doing so. The message center seems to be a great place for posters to experiment with differently personalities. When one runs amok, there is always a new one waiting in the wings.

Hi Wet. This gives me an idea of an interesting scenario. One could post under identities with opposite personalities, even stage schizophrenic catfights, trolling everyone into their circus show, giving negative ratings to "each-other-self". I already have a few odd pair candidates...

It has been done. (And no doubt it continues.) It's one of the reasons we now have moderators. <sigh>

 

People using multiple identities can be tracked down, but it's an arduous and time-consuming process so Daddy doesn't normally bother. Usually, they'll flame out all on their own if they're ignored.

Sort by IP should be an easy way (unless they also have multiple ISP's).

 

BTW, some of them are honest about it. For instance our newest member's handle is FakeOneTimeHandle.

Not necessarily. Broadband connections usually have static IP's, but on a dial-up connection you generally get a different IP address each time you connect. They'll usually all come from the same "block" of addresses, but all that means is that every AOL user will come from that same block.

 

Daddy has other ways. <evil giggle>
