Why are there so many escorts lying about their age. Nearly all the guys i have been with are in real older then stated on their website. Is it that most of the clients want a young boy? On a regular basis i see an escort who says he is 37 but in real he is 45. I wouldn't care if he says he is 45 because for me it's the body that counts. And this guy got a body to die for. At least 98% of men have never had such an amazing body like him in their life. So boys be real (also with your pics) otherwise it will be mentioned in your reviews.

i actually like older men in their late 30's or in their 40's. i've even been with hot men in their 50's. now, it may be because i am 60 that i perefer men closer to my age than those in their early 20's.

while i will occasionally go for the "younger" men, they are usually big in size physically so they do not look child like. recently, in LA i hired jay (reviewed in hollywood). he is a large, collage jock looking type that is model handsome; he does not look like a "young boy"; i might add his reviews are correct and his service is excellent and that only comes from experience. he is a great escort. he just does not look boyish as some 20 year olds do like ethan evans (today's coverboy).

the age thing is just a personal preference and really has to do with how the escort looks. several years ago, there use to be an escort that had a picture on rentboy that had him wearing a diaper! he looked very young. his other pictures had him looking like a school boy. to me it was a total turnoff.

there are other attributes that clients look for when hiring and each is just a matter of taste. my guess is that most men want a younger man (or in the straight world a younger woman). that is why escorts advertise a younger age.

I am finding a more serious problem with appearance than with age. The photos of the escorts often are false in some way. The escort you are hiring is not the one you saw in the photos, not necessarily because of age. I do not object to who says 30 and is 35. I object to who has a good body in the photos and not a good one in reality.

When I came out at 17, I was grossed out by the thought of doing it with a middle-aged man; I assumed that I would just stop having--or wanting--sex by the time I hit 40. I don't think I was alone in that feeling (remember "Don't trust anyone over 30"?). I now know that experienced guys in their 30s and 40s are probably the best sex, but I think most men still believe that guys under 30 are the most desirable, so most escorts will advertise themselves as close to that critical dividing line as they can get away with. Since many escorts work hard to stay in shape, a 35 year old may convincingly claim to be 28, or a 44 year old may claim to be 36; I once hired an escort whom the agency advertised as 32, but I wouldn't have guessed that he was 46 except that he freely admitted it to me. I hired the late porn star Eric Ryan when he appeared to be in his youthful prime, and was surprised when I discovered in conversation that he was 40 (he didn't mention his age in his ads). Although I still want a good-looking, physically fit escort, nowadays, I am less interested in his age than in his character and experience.

RE: Ever notice how age remains eternally the same in published profiles? Rule of thumb: add a minimum of seven years to stated age.

How true! Two years ago adding five usually did the trick... but that was two years ago...

At any rate, the more mature the better. When you see the guy you've hired skate board down the hall to greet you then... well at least for me... you know that there might not be a total meeting of the minds.

Hey--wait a second here. I think I posted this rule of thumb a year or two ago. I called it Gman's Law. I distributed it freely in the public domain for all who needed to use it, but I want to be properly attributed for my genius!!!!! :+ :+ :+

The fake pics thing really gets me even more

than age. I have seen way too many M4RN profiles

that are a complete joke and several on other

sites that should be removed (like Marcel or

whatever his name is on Rentboy who used to pop

up in like 14 different cities) and is just spam.

I have never hired without a face pic and I have

never hired without at least 1 phone conversation.

Between that and a few emails, I have managed

to weed people out really well, especially since

I prefer college age escorts only. I usually ask a

few "questions" to try and weed out someone who

is 40 pretending to be 24. It has worked well for

me so far. Honestly though, there are plenty of

hotter older guys. No reason for anyone to lie

about their age. There are many clients that

have no problems with hiring someone older.

My friend (as that old fart John McLame says), my observation is based upon experience. But if you originated the guide, then I salute and acknowledge the author of Gman's law.

Another observation (mine, I hope; but one many probably share): 30s, probably the most frequently listed age) can mean anything from 30 to 45. Quite a difference as the body goes.

I agree with other posters: I have no problems with a MAN in good shape and in his 40s. If someone advertises as in his 30s and pushes 50, I'd have a problem. And I think that about the age of most working guys, no matter what they say.

This topic is the reason why I mourn Rounds in NY.Not only did you get to see what you are getting but you got a chance to see how the guy interacted with others and you had a chance to talk to him awhile over a drink or dinner.I never ever had a bad experience with anyone I met there.

Sorry to disappoint you. The rule of thumb about adding seven years started with Hollywood actors.

Is it possible that there may be another Rounds or one like it in NY?

I agree with the folks above about liking the more mature guy. What makes me curious is the guys using, not fake, but ANCIENT pics. I was absent from here and Rentboy for a time and came back, amused to find many guys using pics that are easily ten years old. One fellow I hired in 1999 is using the same pic, and it wasn't new then. I have seen him occasionally as he lives in my neighborhood and he still looks great. Why not update the profile?
