Whatever...I've never called anyone on this site "fag" or "faggot" until now. FFF has attacked me repeatedly on this site and I am sick of it. I am not self-loathing and according to my many regulars and glowing reviews not PAST my prime!

Well, I did confess that I would miss FFF if he left the board. I actually like to read most of the posts, Traveller, although your humor is the best. That FFF is an escort is something I have not thought of. I know that Nick claims that Beware of Nick is an escort.

At any rate, to say to someone "die Faggot" is pretty reprehensible in a gay forum if not everywhere else. I may piss some people off, and some people piss me off, but there are lines that I would not cross, as Jeff did.

I am as happy as anybody to see the forum turn into a friendlier place. However, it is the thought provoking posts AI like best, the humorous ones second, and the name-calling last.

Lucky...regardless of the forum or whether a person is gay or straight, it is reprehensible to wish a person dead and certainly impolite to name call. But in all fairness to Jeff, you are misquoting him...he didn't say "die Faggot." I myself try to refrain from profanity so I would never tell someone to go to hell(which is not necessarily the same as wishing someone dead) nor would I call someone faggot or fag, which right or wrong is all Jeff did. So I think it unfair for you to characterize Jeff's statement the way you did, especially since your use of punctuation indicates a quotation as opposed to your own paraphrase of the situation.

 

And I tend to agree with Traveller, Jeff was baited by FFF and unfortunately fell for it, which is probably what FFF wanted all along (IMHO).

I certainly vote for a friendlier forum and would love to see an end to the name calling. (Jeff was not the first and unfortunately he won't be the last). But the place would run a lot smoother if people practiced more civility...but I think some people here are incapable of that.
