Clock icons

I was browsing the reviews in Portland, Oregon and saw that some of the escots had clock icons next to their names. What is that all about? I haven't seen anything like that before.

Notice all the "clocked" review dates are in 2003. I'm guessing the clock means "dated" or some such thing. (I also like the "talk to the hand" icon for the retired guy.)

 

I know Daddy is in the process of purging all reviews older than 2003. I'm guessing the new icons have something to do with the purge?

 

I'll ask him next time we talk (which may be this week or may be next year). If you'd like more immediate gratification (and who among us doesn't like immediate gratification?) you could write to him yourself.

What's the point in deleting older reviews? They're still legitimate reactions to an encounter with an escort and can be useful. Before I hire, I like to go back and read all an escort's reviews.

There are many,many old reviews on scorts with no current(within the last 18 months)reviews or updates.Those clog up the works and should have been removed updated long ago.Good that it is finally getting done.

I think it's a good idea to purge the reviews before 2003 IF there are no subsequent reviews. But it is NOT a good idea to do so when there are recent reviews as well. After all, for escorts who have been active for a long time, such as Jason Markus of NYC, all his reviews (and there are many) should be left intact, IMO, since some of the older ones are better than some of the newer.

 

In fact, for some escorts who consistently receive good reviews, the later ones often say " I won't repeat all the good things that have been said about XXX, etc, etc". If all these good things are deleted, we will be left with little to go on in evaluating an escort's performance.

 

I hope Daddy doesn't get carried away with his purge. BTW, when I saw the clock icon, I thought it meant the escort was a clock watcher! Not a good symbol to use since it may be misconstrued.

perhaps the old reviewed escorts can be kept in a special section; sometimes the escort is still active and a review will appear after a long gap in time. sometimes an escort comes out of retirement.
