I will be in CVG towards the end of the month for some training. I would like to find out about escorts in CVG, what to expect, what to pay including tips, etc, etc, etc. This is my 1st time to hire an escort in the States, so besides the shyness and nerves, I want to try undestand what to expect before hand and that's why I need all the information possiable.....Thx in advance..:)

I hate airport codes.

I'd never get Chicago out of ORD or MDW if I hadn't been there.

Or LGR, NWR, or JFK for New York. (OK, JFK is guessable.)

I might have a running chance to get Palm Springs from PSP (although nerd that I am I might think PaintShop Pro).

FLL is Ft. Lauderdale.

GAAAAAAAKKKKKK!!!!! IT'S THE NEW HANKIE CODE!!!!

I can never remember whether it's two n's or two t's.

And when that's the only thing you can remember about a city..... :+

I recently was in Columbus (the recommended alternative) & Cincinnati. One's bland, dull and not exactly liberal although somewhat gay friendly (unfortunately, it trends anti-semetic), the other's very conservative. Evereyone I know who's lived in Cincinnati has liked it, at least in the short run. Columbus gets a wider range of opinion. My lasting memory of Columbus on this trip---the worst Reuben I've ever had.

CVG actually stands for Covington,KY. That is where Cincinnati's Airport is located, hence Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport.

Cool! Although CVG still isn't all that descriptive. (There is so much Travelocity.com doesn't know.)

Now I can understand Albany, NY having an International airport because they launch puddle-jumpers into Canada.

But Cincinnati? (I know, it's a funding thing and they have one trip to Toronto or somewhere..... but really. Cincinnati International? There are plenty of National airports.)

Cincinnati is a major Delta hub. Flights to Paris, Zurich, Roma, and others non-stop.

If you have Delta frequent flier miles it's a good way to avoid New York while changing planes on the way to Europe from the west coast.

Since the airport is less than 100 miles from my home I connect there often on Delta, less than 20 minute flight and get 500 miles for the connection. I have taken direct flights to London, Amsterdam and Montreal from CVG.

I had no idea (obviously!). Thanks!

(Now can you do something about the Rueben Studdard image in my head? It's a bummer! <g>)

I collect old books and have a collection of old atlases. They (the atlases) are a fascinating look at how countries looked in the past. I once had a pre-civil war atlas of the USA (I sold it for a small fortune) and among other things it contained the street maps of the major USA cities of the time. Of course, there was no Los Angeles or San Francisco nor Houston nor Miami. The cities more or less ended at Chicago. But Cincinnati was there in all its glory. It was in the top 10 American cities then. It may not be as impressive today (pop. apprx 350,000) but it is a city with a past!

Cincinnati does have a very rich history and was for many years the last city before you hit the western frontier.

More slaves crossed the OH river at Cincinnati (MasonDixon line) during that period than any other place on the MD Line. Harriet Beecher Stowe wrote many books while living in Cincinnati, including part of Uncle Tom's Cabin....her original homestead still stands.

The National Underground Railroad Museum just opened last year.

Heritage is German Catholic and conservative, but on the other hand Larry Flynt is a Cincy boy and Doris Day is a Cincy girl - so see we have varied offerings to society.

Lots of other items and firsts but when it comes to escorts, go somewhere else. You can sometimes see some street boys downtown, but have never partaken of that - too risky...though some are cute in that badboy way.

Thanks to every one for all the information. Just how far is Columbus from Cincinnati? I am suprised to hear that there are "no escorts" there, it's a big enough city to have some.......What is the "Gay" live like and are there clubs, place's to eat, pubs etc........

I cannot tell you about escorts. But, about a year and a half ago, I stopped overnight there. It was in a suburb- the name of which is escaping me. I think it was Blue Ash. I hit up the local Bally's there-and it was a bi-boy fest with me being the strange guest of honor who had captured some interest with my big bench press and bicep curls. Everyone there was really friendly and the gaydars were going off like crazy. I'm an average guy- and I can't say that I've ever had that many choices in one place.

I get the feeling that the deal there is more bi (no matter what the NY Times says) and straight guys who don't mind messing around on their girlfriends. It's a straightlaced community. It doesn't seem like the kind of place where guys come jumping out of the closet.

I ended up hooking up with a really cute shorter muscle boy about 15 years my junior for some fun back in my hotel room. It was agood time and a pretty good diversion for a guy spending one night in a town. I need to get back there sometime.
