FRESHMAN is a top rated magazine and most of what they do is in good taste (similar to Playboy for women) and I would say go ahead and do it. Am not familiar with the other mag so will not comment. If the pics are in good taste it probably won't hurt you in the future (unless you plan on being a Supreme Court Justice). I would reserve the rights to exclusive use of Freshman magazine if you do it (you may have to see a lawyer or possibly a paralegal to review a contract). If you don't have a problem with your images "freefloating" in any number of places on the net and ads in the back of dirty mags, then you don't have to worry about this.

With regard to posing nude, if you are concerned about how the pictures taken may be used in the future you should read the contract or release that you are asked to sign very carefully BEFORE signing it. That is the only way you can know who will have control of the photos in the future. I suspect you will find it an extremely one-sided document that gives the publication all rights and you no rights. What if you like the photos and want to use some of them on your own website or in other ways? Will that be permitted? This is the sort of issue you should consider before deciding.

 

I am surprised to see another one of your threads here because I saw a thread from you over the weekend in which you were saying that you are not going to participate in this message center any longer. This was followed by the usual cries of "Don't go!" and "We need you!" from the usual fans. Is it really necessary for you to obtain this sort of validation by repeatedly making threats to leave? Hate to be so blunt, but if you do choose to demand that they only be used by the magazine they probably will let ya walk due to the number of guys not carring what is done.

I agree with the poster that said that you already have the promo out there with your website as an escort. What is to keep anyone from copying that whole thing and using it on you later? And why aren't your pictures from it splattered all over the internet already? They don't even need to be scanned. So I assume that they are in a primo swipable form right now. Talking about Unzipped, which is the same publication company, I know that a couple of years back if you wanted to put a picture on your ad, as so many do, you had to sign a release which (reading it carefully) gave them permission to use your picture any way that they wanted to, including using it in advertising without your permission, or paying you for it, or being liable to suit in court even if they used it for a product which you personally don't believe in, or used it in such a way that you would find it embarrassing. I know that as a bear escort it certainly was enough to turn me off from the prospect, even if I thought that the expense would have been worth it here in Houston (which it wouldn't have).
