Here we go again another review that seems to be questionable. But, my purpose is not to question the veracity of this review and I will admit up front I am prejudiced because I have seen Jason Coxx for over a year. That aside, I think we need to modify the review criteria to handle situations like this, so the escort is looked at fairly in the future.

When you look at reviews one of the first items you see is ""DID HE LIVE UP TO HIS PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION and DID HE LIVE UP TO WHAT HE PROMISED?

If you are searching for an escort, especially in New York where there are many choices, you need a way to narrow down your choices. These two questions are my guideline for going forward and my final barometer (not thermometer, Jason) for selection. Initially I eliminate those guys who have a rating of NO and NO. I do read the review, I do consider the veracity of the reviewer, but if I feel the review is not a fake and there are other escort choices I am interested in, the NO/NO rating will cause me not to chose that guy.

In this review and others like it, the reviewer admits the experience was not all that bad. Fine, so lets not penalize the escort or the reviewer. My suggestion is to add a middle of the road response to these two questions i.e. YES, SOMEWHAT, NO. To me this says, I need to read further to understand why? But, even if the reviewer chooses not to explain any further, it leaves the door open. Most important, I feel, is it gives the reviewer the opportunity to say I had an OK time, not bad, not great without the harshness of a NO.

Every escort who is reviewed wants a YES/YES fabulous review. I think we all agree every experience can't be the best we ever had. I have learned after many years in business the only way to resolve a situation between parties is if they both WIN. Maybe we will get more reviews if we give the reviewers the opportunity to say I had an OK time, and hopefully the escorts will feel less animosity?

I couldn't agree with you more about the need for something other than just the yes and no categories since they don't always apply. I wrote the review in question, and successfully or not, what I tried to do was convey a sense of the differences of what I expected and what I got, and I tried to do it in a way that observed without criticisms. I know that I was fair in giving credit where I felt it was due, and explaining the aspects that left me unsatisfied. I hoped that this would provide readers with more information on which to make their choices. The very things that left me a little cold might be the very things that get someone else going. I don't "blame" Jason for who he is, nor do I "blame" myself for being less than thrilled. This was an encounter that just boils down to "different strokes" etc. I certainly had no hard feelings about it, and it surprises me that someone would feel they needed to run to Jason's defense. You could write rave reviews of him daily based on your experiences, and at the same time my experience would still remain lackluster.

Off the top of my head, I have no objection to the suggestion... but wouldn't

acceptable / would not hire again

accomplish pretty much the desired outcome within the present framework. My read would be he wasn't UNACCEPTABLE but also wasn't what I wanted or expected, either in person or performance.

I agree that something less black and white would enhance the reviews ability to more accurately relay information. The review in question was not really negative, and yet the no/no at the beginning might throw people off.

I'm curious about the opening comment. i.e., about the review being questionable. What makes it so? The fact that your experience was quite different? I think most escorts would be the first to admit that they aren't going to be all things to all people. Their performance and appearance could be absolutely consistent, and yet still be perceived very differently by different people. I think it's important to remember that there is no right or wrong to a review; they are very personal takes on a situation and they may not always be in agreemnet with your experience. If the experience is not one you relate to it should not automatically become questionable.

Directly from the escort's response: "the reviewer hired me twice in four days". Why was he hired a second time, if he was not what you were looking for? If the first time was good and the second was not, why not a good review for the first time? Or what was it that made the second time less desirable?

Bottom line, I respect the reviewer's opinion. As a frequent reader of this site, but not a frequent poster, I am concerned that there is a reluctance to post reviews and especially a less than desirable one. As intelligent individuals there has to be a way around this so that we all benefit.

Interesting. As the reviewer in question I didn't think it necessary to address the escorts remarks nor did I want to get ino a he said/he said situation. But for the record, I met with the escort once only, not twice, and I know that I'm not suffering from Alzheimer's...yet.

CTMUSH ,

My point is that we already have that capability with the present review form. The entries are on two different lines but I do not think that excessively burdensom.

This was a classic post and rebuttal that makes this site so valuable.

Meister expressed some concerns clearly and Jason Coxx responded directly and appropriately.

Both gents have my respect. And, I am not less likely to hire Jason having read the interchange.

too many variations leave it open to maybes..i like the fact that it is a "gun to your head question: yes or no" it forces you to be most clear. Once you add "grey" choices people always choose grey. For example, are you happy, unhappy or just ok? A full 90% of people will say OK but you do not have a sense of what the state of affairs really is b/c are you ok/happy or ok/sad and then we have a whole greey line developing for clarity. Easier to say "gun to your head, are you happy or sad". More info will be conveyed when people are forced to make a binary choice. I have spent some time in market research and we have found this to be true time and time again: how is the customer service? OK is always the answer and the company then does nothing about it. But how is the customer service? Good or bad (no in between) invariably you get more of the Bad and the company is called to action to do something about it. blu

You may get a chuckle out of this, maybe not. I have no way of knowing whether Jason met with this guy twice or not. What I do know is that Jason sent me an Email today indicating that he thought I wrote the review, which I did not. Clever though the rebuttal was, it was based on an erroneous assumption and as such diminishes its credibility.

At the risk of dragging out this tedious non-event, I'm going to reply one LAST TIME and this will be my FINAL WORD on this potential tar baby.

Before writing my initial reply, I made 100% sure I KNEW who the reviewer was. No ifs, ands, ors or butts (rim shot). The first bad review I got was completely bogus so I would had to have been psychic to know who wrote that one, and, the only true satisfaction I got from that review was when I made a marzipan voodoo doll of the reviewer and bit its head off. But I digress......

............like I was saying.......I KNOW who this reviewer is. How do I know, you ask? Well, for me to tell you how I know would require me to reveal private things about the man - things that would violate the spirit of both the message board and, more important, my personal ethics. However, I can respectfully say that I hold no personal animus towards Meister/TFNH whatsoever. However, I am disappointed that, in addition to him not being 100% pleased with our (multiple)encounters, he has felt it necessary to call into question my credibility when he knows that I know that he knows that I know who he is.

More than anything else, this whole episode gives me the heebie geebies.

My mother told me to be an accountant when I grew up. I should have taken her advice.

I think you "interpreted" these answers already. Maybe I am to literal,(I am an engineer) but to me "Did he live up to his physical description" means just that, and is an easy question to answer yes or no. Has he put on 20 lbs or is it 10 years since the pictures or description were accurate. Does the picture show a smooth bod and he's furry? Does he advertise 9, but is 6 1/2 at best. These are reasons to answer "no". If the picture is clearly him and the stats are accurate the answer is yes, even if the lighting is flattering.

"Did he live up to what he promised?" Did he tell you on the phone or on his website that he kisses passionately, or will bottom, or top, or is into S&M, or whatever, and then when you meet gives you that "I never ever do anything like that" routine. That is cause for a no. But if he performs the actions agreed upon, even if you don't personally connect, or you think the passion is lacking, or whatever, that is still a yes. There is plenty of space to let us know that you didn't think he performed up to snuff, that you didn't connect, and the session was not one of the best. I've never met Jason, but if I had written this review it would have been yes, yes, ?(since I wasn't there this one is questionable), and no repeat with the reasons why I wasn't thrilled stated in the body. You can't buy or bottle "chemistry" and that seems to be what was missing in this session.

To Meister and TFNH:

I would be interested in finding out why both your AOL email adresses begin with "TCP." It's a matter of public record here. I am not revealing anything that cannot be found by anyone.

I would also like to know why you have an identical report on your IP address.

Also, I would be interested in finding out why Meister posted a question about negative reviews before he submitted one on Jason and why you both are suddenly showing up, after never having posted here before.

I am not acusing you of anything, I just find the information strange and coincidental.

We may all get a chuckle out of this and Jason Coxx may just get the last laugh.

I'm an accountant. Trust me. Negative and so so reviews notwithstanding, I think that you're having much more fun! }>

I set up my AOL account based on what was available to me; it reflects name and location. It was not my first or second choice but I received messages to my initial attempts to set up an account which said that the handle requested was already in use. Jason does know who I am because I told him so previously. I hope this answers your question.

CTMush and all

As I read through this I saw a perfectly good suggestion, supported by many, take a real detour along the way. At the end it seems like the people making comments have become the issue and that the original suggestion has gotten lost. I'd suggest going back to square one and keeping focused. It seems there's a lot more to be gained that way. All this ruckus over a review that wasn't even bad?

Actually, it doesn't even begin to answer Hoo's questionS.

According to Hoo, the IP addresses are the same for you and Meister. That, as we all know, means both names are coming from the same computer - ergo, you and Meister are the same person.

Let's start with that little co-inkie-dink, shall we?

We're all in our places with bright shiny faces awaiting your answer to that.

Breathlessly,

You can breathe now. I am not aware of anyone else having routine access to my computer. Beyond that, I don't have enough technical knowledge to respond further.
