I will be in NYC for 5 days mid-May and would love to hook up with one or two (would three be too many?) hot escorts. Here’s how I plan to shop:

Search escort websites for the next week or so, send inquiries via e-mail and see what develops. I’ve started this today.

See a couple shows at the Gaiety, and if I see someone I like, invite him back to my hotel.

Make a last minute hire through an honest and trustworthy agency. This is were I need advice. Can anyway recommend an agency that has great escorts and always provides accurate, realistic and current descriptions?

Thanks,

Leo

I would suggest a few modifications to your shopping agenda. Check out the escort websites and choose your particular hotties, then read their reviews here, then send your emails. No review? I won't say don't hire, just tread carefully.

As far as the Gaiety, the guys will take you to their hotel, unless you're staying at the Marriott Marquis or the Paramount, since they are on a tight schedule, and be sure and discuss what you are looking for before you make a appt. Most privates from the Gaiety are rather quick, often find it more satisfactory to meet them when they aren't between shows.

Can't help with the agency, there are so many freelancers in NYC I've never used an agency

>Escort agency in NY? Campus, Campus, Campus....

Sounds like you own stock in Campus, wish I did.

Hands down with my vote. If your going to use a escort service check out http://www.campuescorts.com I try and use them every time I'm in NYC, I even had them come down to Philly to see me. I don't think Philip will steer you wrong.

When in doubt I whip it out:+

Agree with recommendation of CAMPUS...IF YOU ARE INTO TWINKS. If a more "masculine type" escort is your taste, try Maximum Escorts. Their selection is of the more "manly" types. In any case, each as their own website where you can check out the guys.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies...

I checked out the Campus website and most of the escorts are too twinky for my taste. The escorts on Maximum are more too my liking. I also checked out Chelsea and they have some attractive guys. But if I find myself on the phone with an agency and don't have handy access to the escort's picture on the web, or the escort has chosen not to be pictured, can I be confident that the description given over the phone will be accurate? Will I have a better chance with one agency over another? I'd like to hear about good experiences as well as bad.

Leo, although I haven't used any agencies in NYC., the manager of Maximum's seems to be quite cordial and helpful. I've emailed him twice over the year, and each time received candid answers to my questions. I plan to use the services here when I'm back there within a few months, for I can charge for this (something I've never done); I will also seek the services of some of the hottest independents who advertise.

I'd recommend Maximum plus do some independents based on their reviews and your desires...

Sunday Z,

I will not claim to be an expert in NYC escorts because although I had a hot guy on 6 of the seven nights I was there, I left town with many on the list that i never had a chance to sample. My plan was similar to what you stated. Looked over the reviews on this site. Responding mostly to reviews with pics, I also checked any escorts well reviewed here who also had their own website. Narrowing down that list, I emailed 15 or so and had several meesages back and forth to try to establish what their personality was like (at least to the degree that you can do that). I have found my most enjoyable experiences have come with guys that I feel a connection with during the email /phone process. I know it amounts to more time that they must spend getting to know me and vice versa, and some will weed themselves out during this process as they decide that it's too much time wasted on not a sure thing. But I can assure you, that it is time well spent to me because (as has been discussed in other threads) it's about more than just sex for me. Yeah, sex is in there, but the connection made for me is about conversation, comfort, companionship and physical touching other than sex as well. NYC has hundreds of escorts that fall into this category. In addition I had two open nights where I was able to hook up with Luc from the gaiety and also a guy at Stella's. I have never used an agency because i find that the message/phone process is indespensable (sp) in zeroing in on the best match for me. With an agency, it seems you get stats, some general info on likes and nothing else. I want to know does the guy have a sense of humor. What does his voice sound like. Can he carry a conversation of interest to someone older than the third grade. If you wanted names, it's no secret I have a strong affection for Jim #2 (badly numbered in my book, should be #1). His handle here is bottomstudny or something like that. He is certainly not a twink except for the TWINKle in his eye and he is (as Cooper says ) Full Service. But like I said before , I left with a long list of "meant to see" and "wanted to see". So trust what Rick Munroe says. Try independents who can respond for themselves rather than going through an agency...and do your homework.

Just my two cents worth...although looking at the length of this, it's more like $1.50.

have fun. I LOVE NEW YORK

Hopefully, if the Straphangers' Campaign has their way, that'll still get you a ride on the subway for another year...and you can ride the other attractions NYC has to offer. }(

Traveling Hos

New York, like any major market, will have a fair number of traveling escorts, some of whom may coincide with (a) your preference in men; (b) your sexual and other preferential tastes and © your availability. That is another option for you to consider.

To answer two of your other questions briefly: agency guys can be just as good as independents. If you were in Los Angeles, the market here is stronger among the escorts who work for themselves; in New York, you have more options. You could also contact the agencies by e-mail, ask them for a web site link where the candidates might be viewed and then see if the candidates have reviews, if you even like any of the photographs.

Your other choices are to look at the publication, one of which I was surprised to see, had their escort listings on line: http://www.nextmagazine.net/

Good luck.

Good advice from everyone - thank-you.

I’ve contacted a number of escorts and have been busy reading the reviews on this website. Interesting thing -- In reading reviews, I’ve noticed something with postings for a few escorts.

Corey from NYC is a perfect example of one type of posting (3rd Corey in the list). Corey has a half dozen reviews within the last 18 months and all but one is from a first time reviewer. Each reviewer, with the exception of the reviewer who had posted before, used the same writing style: long sentences but with a good, compound sentence structure; good use of commas; and heavy use of parentheticals. The other reviewer used a totally different style. No parentheticals and all sentence were short, concise and did not require commas. Most interesting is that all the reviews, with one exception, were over-the-top raves about how wonderful Corey was. The exception was the reviewer with the different writing style who had posted before. His posting said that Corey was a no-show.

Contrast this to the reviews for Chris #3 from NYC. Chris has about 10 reviews in the same time period and all but one were from reviewers who had posted before. Writing styles for each review seemed unique and the reviews focused on different aspects of the experience. Although all reviews were very positive, each poster had something different too say.

So, which reviews would you believe?
