A response from Bruno appears in his Escort Review (under Mexico & South America). Let me say at the outset that I have never met Bruno in person, but prior to his trip to the U.S. we exchanged some e-mails on matters that don't involve my hiring him. The response seems genuine, especially because the writing style, including punctuation, is identical to that in the e-mails Bruno has sent me.

From several things Bruno mentioned in those e-mails, I have reason to suspect that the perpetrator of the negative review and the obsessive messages and phone calls is the person who was posting here under the nickname "IamI2002". ("IamToxic2002" would have been more appropriate). It seems this person may be posting here under several different nicknames. In addition to the things gleaned from Bruno's e-mails, there are similarities between the IamToxic postings (which began by gushing about the boy and then turned nastily anti-Bruno). The postings were full of dubious references to the writer's supposed wealth and importance (the three fantasy German cars) which fit rather neatly with the reviewer's claims that he bills at US$500/hr in his mythical occupation and that he spent $5000 to fly to São Paulo just to see Bruno. I think everyone here can connect the rest of the dots.

Uncle Tri's Escort Tip of the Month (if not of all time): Beware contacts from this person, if you don't want to experience the same thing Bruno did. And remember that he uses different nicknames. Of course, there are genuinely wealthy men out there who engage the services of escorts. But (and this is addressed especially to the newbies among you escorts) be extremely wary of anyone who tries to hire you who gratuitiously discusses his wealth and the things he owns. Most people who really have that kind of money don't talk about it. If they do, I suggesting passing, unless you're truly desperate! Someone who constantly talks about his money and things isn't the kind of person you'd want to be with anyway, because the entire dreary encounter will only be about him and his things and his bank account and how important and powerful he is. Bleah! x( It's also a pretty safe bet that you find yourself stood-up, stranded, subjected to an unpleasant public scene, stiffed or left with no tip by this kind of creep. Who needs that?

I agree, the reviewer seems like someone with a vendetta.

But with that said, his response was sooooo cute! The guy is adorable! He makes we wanna just hold him and cuddle him all night long (right after I fuck him silly, that is). :-)

And what pray tell would those be . . . ?

I have agreed elsewhere that Bruno's denial has the ring of truth to it because of the style this time, but the airplane story to SP does not seem strange to me, nor does the confusion about the purpose of the client's trip. If I go to SP on business, and then spend a weekend in Rio before returning, I could see telling an escort that I was coming to see him. That could easilly be expained as harmless hyperbole.

That said, I think the poor guy has bad advisors. His Travel Section Ad sets up a few red flags for some of us here (with which Tri etc. have a right to disagree). I am highly skeptical of escorts who set two hour limits, who want to set up appointments that far in advance, and who invite such a veritable army of on-line defenders. I am tempted to hire the lad myself to see what the fuss is all about, but it must make the other escorts here rather jealous to see this unceasing marketing campaign on behalf of young Mr. Bruno.

Did it ever occur to you that for reasons that reasonable people can debate not everyone might be enthralled with Mr. Bruno?

And the airplane story doesn't seem strange to "ad rian." Hmmm. Is that because he's the one who concocted it? Remember, gentle readers, that this ISN'T the story this creep gave to Bruno. Bruno seems to have been aware all along that the reviewer wanted to stop over to see him in São Paulo while on a longer business trip to South America, which would be both more reasonable and believable. It's the reviewer who told quite a different tale in the negative review, in a slimy effort to trash Bruno.

By the way, does anyone wonder about the writing style in the bad review? How it resembles that of IamToxic2002 and "ad rian"s? And, for that matter, does it look or sound like the writing of a professional anyone would pay $500 an hour to? Is there a smell of rat about the whole affair?

Why are you so invested in hs defense? Hmmh?

At any rate, as said before I am just me. I have nothing against Mr. Bruno but his backers here give me the creeps. I think the best thing this kid did was to speak for himself. As I said befoe, I now would give him the benefit of the doubt (although having been to SP, I don't think a plane ride is so strange which I think you also conceded on another thread). That said, I stay clear of escorts who ask for two hour minimums, and have dance cards that are that full. Nonetheless, I encourage his advisors to review him rather than shilling for him. You are not helping him.

Bruno, set yourself free of Tri, Axiom etc. Stand on your own two feet, play that cute accent for all its worth, cut your 2 hour minimum and hyperactive scheduling, and I bet you will find increased profitability in the land of the free and home of the brave!

>Did it ever occur to you that for reasons that reasonable people can debate not everyone might be enthralled with Mr. Bruno?

Sure. As I've made clear in this and other posts, I'm one of them. He's cute as a button, but "cute as a button" doesn't particularly ring my chimes. However, Bruno seems to be a nice kid who's trying to get ahead in the world by sharing (for a modest encomium) some of the bountiful gifts Nature has lavished on him, and who has plenty of satisfied clients. Just like a lot of other escorts on this board. I wish them every success!

Unless an escort is ripping me off, or failing to perform as promised, or pulling an unjustified "no-show" that leaves me holding an expensive bag, or otherwise misrepresents himself, it would never occur to me to post anything negative about him on this board. And if I found myself in that position (which, thank goodness, I haven't until now) I would only do it once, let alone umpteen million times.

Nobody's denied your right not to be enthralled with Bruno. We just don't need or want to keep hearing endlessly about your non-enthrallment with Bruno, an escort you've never met or done business with, from now until the turn of the NEXT century. Can I put it any more clearly?

But you some how seem to feel that rest of need to watch endless threads singing his praise from clients who have never hired him? Curious indeed!

Because he seems like a nice kid who hasn't been around the block that many times, at least not with evil queens from the Northern Hemisphere, and who is at a disadvantage in defending himself in English. (Although that seems to be improving. He must be learning a great deal from his clients during his stay in the U.S.) I take a special interest because I owe Brazilians like Bruno an immeasurable debt for the extraordinary and overwhelming hospitality, kindness, generosity and friendship they have shown me over the years. I'm glad to be able to repay their kindness in any small way I can.

But, as so many other have pointed out, you DON'T need to watch endless threads singing his praise. You can glide right over them if you know they're about someone who doesn't interest you. Obviously, Bruno interests many people here, including people who haven't hired him but find him very attractive and who would like to engage him.

You're equally entitled to post about escorts you find attractive. If I take a look and find that I'm not interested in your choices, it's not likely I'd ever go back to look at his review or any posts about him, unless someone's reporting he murdered a client or some such! I much prefer to spend my time reading and fantasizing about (and hiring) guys I'm interested in!

And no doubt, you could do the same with respct to my posts expressing skepticism about his marketing campaign, n'est ce pas? I am strugling to understand where this totalitarian streak in you comes from.}(

Am I the only guy who doesn´t believe Bruno Gaucho´s response? Where´s Fing Fang Foom when I need him? Bruno states he told the guy several time that he didn´t want to get together. What could possibly tempt a guy to fly over 10,000 miles to try to meet someone who´s said he won´t meet you? Especially when you don´t know his address!! Doesn´t anyone else find that the least bit suspicious?

I didn't start the thread, but I promise to jump in as long as the marketing campaign continues. Actually, the more I read from Bruno's team, the more sympathy I have for him.

Bruno, my best advice to you is to stay away from these patronizing old queens who can't afford you. They are giving you bad advice, and worse than that, they are expecting you to repay their "kindness" in kind! I suggest you get your advice from some local Brazilian escorts or let Mike at Campus take your career in hand. Lesson No. 1 in American culture, we fire our coaches when the team is in trouble!

I am sleepy; I read Adrian's thread and thought that his massive questioning had been answered. I had no idea that it, Adrian's response, would garner so much. It's indicative of what has been here for weeks. I hope that we all can embrace Bruno Gaucho as a visitor to this country and "leave the young man" to enjoy and do business and return to Brazil with the intent of returning to a country that is adored by oh so many-- natives and non-natives!

If by chance I venture to Rio and SP in April/May-- I for one will attempt to "hook up" with Mr. Bruno Gaucho and embrace him as well as other things for days!

Well, here's another example of the way your loathsome mind works. As I've mentioned before, I've never met Bruno and don't know if I will ever meet him. He's a very cute kid, but my tastes tend to run in other directions, so it's not like I'd go out of my way to get together with him. So, no, I'm not looking for a freebie. Also, just for the record, I have neither been offered nor received any freebies from any escort on this board. (Although I'm not saying I would necessarily reject any such offers! }) )

The fact is, I don't give information or assistance EXPECTING something in return. If I did, there'd be one helluva debt owed to me from the readers of this board, to be blunt about it. Starting with you, dude! :D But I guess that's the difference between us, "ad rian." For you, everything is reduced to a transaction and a calculation of what you can gain from it. That's not how I operate (nor, it seems, do many of the other participants on this site.) I suppose that explains why you can't understand people who are capable of acting altruistacally. It's alien to your nature. In fact, your entire nature is alien.

As for the posting questioning the veracity of Bruno's response (written, I notice, in the identical paranoid style of so many others here) which scenario is more believable? Bruno's, in which he decided not to do business with a clearly obsessive client who wanted to get together with him during a longer trip to Argentina and Brazil? Or the negative reviewer's, who, while superfluously announcing his own alleged income and wealth, claimed to have flown off to Brazil in premium class exclusively for the purpose of an encounter with an escort he'd never met who doesn't speak English fluently, to whom he didn't send the expected deposit, and who had not sent the reviewer any confirmation of the engagement? Personally, I buy Bruno's version. The rest of you guys can decide on your own.

Bruno just left my home in DC (he was already visiting DC, I did not pay for his trip here). He showed up about 20 minutes early, which I guess is better than 20 minutes late. He is just as pictured on his site, but I was struck by how Scandanavian his looks are -- you would never peg him as Brazilian, which I guess is part of the attraction but i like more "typico" Brazilians myself. He was immaculately but comfortably dressed with fabulous Brazilian shoes. His English is VERY limited -- it appears that he knows less than a few hundred words in English, and his most frequent answer to comments of mine was "What you mean?" He's halfway through a 4 week course in English. I'm 'fraid 2 more weeks will not get him comfortable in this country (he said he likes NYC but was uncomfortable due to the language issue).

I was actually quite proud of my forethought. I went to AltaVista and translated 6 important components of our time together from English to Portuguese. He read them sitting on the couch and seemed to study them for quite some time, though they are all very Vanilla. Then he raised his very cute face and said "yes, this OK".

He was more than OK -- He has a body to die for. Minor flaws preventing it from being flawless in my book -- I would have liked a smooth butt and a smooth face (as in shaving before coming over) but you can never get it all, can you? The sex was VERY GOOD, but honestly not as sensous as my regular (who I hire for more than 2 hours each time -- so Bruno's minimum didn't bother me).

To the heart of the issue of this thread, I would strongly suspect that a big part of this brewhaha with the U.S. visitor to Brazil could have come from language barriers. I honestly think Bruno could have misinterpreted what his future client was trying to communicate, got confused and decided that backing out would make the most sense. He CERTAINLY did not appear to be diabolical as portrayed in the thread.

Was he good? Yes. Would I see him again? Perhaps, but not a slam dunk.
