Thanks for this. I think it is very helpful, honest and frankly about what I expected. I have never believed that Bruno is diaboical, but it is becoming clearer that the real demons here are his erstwhile syphilitic, arthritic, parasitic advisors who have given him bad marketing advice, and have actually done him more harm than good with thear overzealous marketing campaign here.

Although I respect Trilingual's and Axiom's opinions on the many threads I have read over the past months here, I find myself sympathetic to Ad rian's point-of-view on this particular subject. Without ever having met Bruno (he's not my type either), I tend to stay clear of escorts who have been hyped in the "press", as it were. The same was true for me with regards to Kristian (Houston); I would consider someone put so high on a pedestal to be too far out of reach for me. I'm looking for someone a little more down to earth - not such a celebrity. The mystery of meeting someone well-reviewed, but perhaps not famous for being so "beautiful" and "talented" tends to add to the anticipation and excitement for me.

Though it may not, and, in Bruno's case probably hasn't gone to the escort's head (most probably don't even read these comments), I still find the laudations somewhat distasteful, for some reason. Probably the taint of jealousy. I'm human...

Chris, after seeing this post I was reminded of an experience that I had forgotten with a French Amsterdam/London-based "super-star" escort last year. I had wanted to rent him while I lived in Paris, but did not get around to it until I moved to New York. This guy's reviews here and elsewhere are through the roof and his pics are spectacular. He joined me for a weekend, and while I did not have a bad time (I rarely if ever do.), I was somewhat disapointed. The reality simply did not match the image or the over the top reviews. That said, I could see elements of what others were saying, but in totality ....? Your post reminded me that the only time I have seen anything approaching the Bruno hysteria was with that guy, and while I had a good time, I must say I have had better. Best of luck to those who were swept up with the Bruno campaign, but like you, I prefer to find a few hidden gems out there.

This post, and ad rian's below it, also brings to mind the whole idea of hiring for worshiping purposes (not so prevalent here, but on the MSS site you read a lot more of it). Certain escorts, for body worship only, are assigned a god-like quality by many people that seems unreal to me. I appreciate a great body, like I'm sure all here do - but to pay someone just to watch them take their clothes off, sometimes only down to their shorts is something beyond the realm which my self-respect will allow. A lot of those guys aren't even gay (or claim such). I'd need to at least get a decent masssage out of it.

How must they feel about themselves, and those who pay just to gaze upon them?

Chris, today's review of Bruno I think underscores your point. There appear to be some serious "star-fuckers" out there. I am not going to criticize them for that, but for me at least that makes their positive reviews, while undoubtedly real to them, somewhat unreliable. I went back and read his prior reviews and came across this line which I think gives the neessary context with which to analyze the present review of Bruno: "I am very careful who I hire and have spent time w/ some of the most popular guys reviewed on this site."

Apart from that, the writing style did seem awfully similar to some of the frequent posters on these copius Bruno threads, and meticulous in its attempt to clarify every disputed point raised here. No harm in that though, I suppose.

I think it is 75% the marketing campaign here, and 25% the Brazilian Brad Pitt resemblance.

Really? What South American slums do you hang out in? Please list them by name, city and country, because I'm sure Bruno's legion of fans will want to flock there!

Personally, I suspect this poster (yet another of the many personas of the vilipendious one?) must be spending his time in some parallel universe South America. I've been going to South America for nearly twenty years, and I sure haven't seen many favela dwellers who look like Bruno. In fact, I don't recall seeing any. I have seen quite a few others, though, that I wouldn't have kicked out of bed just because they weren't born with silver spoons in their mouths! What they WERE born with more than makes up for the silver spoon shortage. . . :9

I've never met Bruno, nor do I know anything about his origins except that he's from Rio Grande do Sul, but I suspect he comes from a lower-middle-class or working class family that, like so many others in South America, have fallen victim to the economic crises there. Everyone's scrabbling to make ends meet, and Bruno's doing his bit to put himself through school and help his family by putting his abundant natural assets to work. Bruno is obviously not everybody's cup of tea (I, too, have never understood the appeal of Brad Pitt, although I have to say that Bruno is far better built, not to say endowed, than the Pitt-man). It's equally obvious, though, that Bruno thrills many people here, and the first-hand reports by people who actually have been with him make clear that he's very skillful and professional, and leaves his clients satisfied. I'd say that's pretty good for a kid of humble background, or any background! :-)

You seem to be expert in recognizing multiple handles. Could it be that you have a few of your own, and I am not talking about your love handles! Tri don't assume that everyone here is as diaboloical and cunning as you, but I did enjoy reading your review this morning. Such style, such grace, you must belong to the master race, or was that the chosen people. I tend to confuse the two when I read your posts!:p

well tilingual for your info i live in south america in a country near brasil. i meet a lot of brasilians in my line of work. no i dont go to favelas. and i am not interested in favela guys. and honestly i dont understand this obsession with the brasilian man. brad pitt.. well thats another story. sorry but i think brad is better looking, and certainly much more educated then this bruno. as for endowment i am not a size person, its the personality that counts. there are much better looking escorts in the united states from all over the world. and on my trips to the usa i met some. amen.

If you live in South America, you may be immune to the charms of local men by now. They certainly won't be exotic to you. At the same time, I'm slightly surprised by your lack of interest in Brazilian men. You don't say what neighboring South American country you live in, but Brazilian men are widely considered to be extremely sexy in next-door Argentina, and do very well when they visit there, either as visitors or as escorts. The saunas of Porto Alegre, São Paulo and Rio have loads of Argentine and other South American patrons, so it's clear that at least some of your fellow South Americans appreciate the charms of Brazil!

Still, everybody is different in what they're attracted to, and it's perfectly legitimate if Brazilian men don't appeal to you. What I don't consider legitimate is certain people on this site trashing other men for their tastes, just because they happen not to coincide with theirs, or bad-mouthing certain escorts (or worse) just because the escorts aren't "their type," or they can't afford them. Sorry if you got caught in the cross-fire of that war of words! And enjoy your visits and your escort experiences in the U.S.!

And now a word to our on-site Nazi:

Sunshine, unlike you, I've only posted under the same nickname. There really isn't any reason for me to use any others. For starters, I don't need to conduct endless conversations with my other personalities, since I only have the one you see here. For another, my style is distinctive enough that readers would know immediately that it was me if I started posting under other names. So, no. Another red-herring-scented theory down the drain. . . Honestly, snookums, with all the time you spend battling the worldwide Jewish conspiracy to control everything, let alone all the time you spend ranting here, I'm amazed you find a spare minute to do any of that high-priced lawyering you claim to do. ($500/hr., didn't you say?) But then, who'd hire a lawyer with thought processes like yours? Talk about your road to ruin! No wonder you've got so much time on your hands! Of course, idle hands are the devil's playground, as I'm sure the nuns taught you, and as we can all see for ourselves right here on M4M!

And what I don't consider legitimate is a 6 month marketing campaign here on behalf a particular escort by some evil queen (your word not mine).

No, I did not say, but how did you guess? Good to see that the classless struggle still lives on.

I have wasted some of my morning reading this drivel by trilingual and Ad rian. Wow, it's amazing that two supposedly grown men can spend so much time biting back at one another. Is this "sport" or do you really dislike one another so much?

Ad rian, I can say that I find you to be one of the most single minded bufoons who write on here. Don't you have anything else to do with your time? You are so mean spirited.

No point arguing with this paranoid,pear-shaped bitch with a very low self esteem. All she wants is control of the board, whatever the topic.

I am now "ad rian". A few weeks ago I was someone living in lower Manhattan who obsessed over Bruno and offered to bring him to the US, sabotaging the "fluffy lumberjack" in the process.

O tempora! O mores!

The pear-shaped, low self esteem are the bitch's descriptions of herself. She is also an impecunious government employee envious of others' wealth and truly upset with me because, in spite of all her begging, I refuse to let her wash any of my 3 German cars. Can you imagine that mess of cellulite in a thong... What's this, THE MAN SHOW?

Sorry to disappoint and render the STEALTH a fraud.

I will now proceed to reading the review that has caused such alarm.

Now that I've been "outed" of all my identities --- WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?

Help me, Auntie Tri --- Write on six or seven pages of advice, so theat thread insomniacs have something to thank you for.

You might also get a freebie from "Errrr... you know who."
