Finishing early?

Has anyone else noticed this? I've been to a few providers recently, and almost every time I book a 1-hour session, they wrap up 10-15 minutes early or as soon as I’m “done.” I'm paying for a full hour, so I'm curious—is this becoming a standard practice now, or is it just me? Should I be expecting this? Would love to hear if others have had the same experience.

I’d say it’s pretty common, but not acceptable.  One bailed on me in less than 30 minutes once. I sent him a scathing text and will never see him again.  

I think the best way is to communicate up front that you expect an hour of their time no matter what.  Stopping them from trying to leave early would be awkward.  Why would you want to hang out witb someone who wants to leave?

Personally, I front load the meeting with lots of conversation to ensure I get an hours worth of company.

One way to stop that might be once you "finish" pull him up to you or ask him to lie next to you. 

I did have one provider just start to get dressed, and I mentioned that I had more time. He asked me, "did you want me to stay?" not in a condescending way, just like completely surprised I didn't want him to go.  Maybe they're used to the theory that they're paid to leave.

To me it's really the quality of the experience rather than the exact time. If you have a good time and you have a great end, then why count the minutes. The really good providers don't watch the clock so I don't either.
