any 411 on this guy? seems really nice, easy to communicate with and pretty upfront about his boundaries. my read is that even though he’s on rent.men, he’s primarily offering legit massage, maybe with a little flexibility depending on chemistry. anyone seen him before?

It took a little while, but he did send me a list of services.  His fees are very competitive for the NYC market.  As @BKK212 said, the session is not likely to go beyond therapeutic or sensual massage.  He did say, however, that he is open to other services provided they are discussed, and agreed to, prior to the session.

I did ask for a face picture.

My approach would be to hire him for a session, not say anything about expectations and let him work his magic at a level he is comfortable with.  Once we met each other, I may ask for additional services during subsequent sessions.  If we click.

I agree.

I am, at times, a paid RM member.  This guy's other pic is the same torso, but the shot is down to his pubic hair which looks natural except for a mild trim perhaps.  The same picture shows the upper 2 inches of a girthy cock.

Still have not received the face picture I requested, but his communication about fees showed that they were not insane by NYC standards,

Following up with him, I asked  a few basic questions about his availability to offer incalls.  And I requested a head shot, 

24 hours later - no reply either way.  Nobody is THAT busy.

With limited pictures and slow or no responses to inquiries, I am inclined to move him to my PASS list.

While everyone deserves a good start in the business world, I tend to think twice when considering a provider with no reviews and no trusted forum member vouching for him. Just my two cents.

I feel the same way. Not hearing back in 24 hours is bad for THEIR business.

The body pics are hot, if they are his.  That remains to be determined.

My point is - he is new here and entirely unreviewed as @Cliff pointed out.  In a case like that, the service needs to be impeccable.  Responses to customary inquiries about fees, services, availability of incalls need to be prompt.

On Friday Aug 8, I contacted him to say I would like a massage and asked about fees.  On August 9, late in the day he responds with the fee information which ended up quite reasonable.  Same day I respond to inquire about his availability for an incall.  We are now 24 hours later, Monday Aug 10 and still no response.  What if I wanted an appointment during the weekend?   And, by the way, I contacted him via DM on RM and via text to his cell.

I think some of these guys when they first get into the business approach it very part time, both appointments and communications.

Some of them get into the business rather casually without giving it serious thought. They just think it’s an easy and quick way to get  some cash. I also imagine some of them feel shame and/or have privacy concerns, hence the reluctance to show their faces. After all, American society at large still stigmatizes sex workers. I just try to be very understanding and feel empathy for whatever they might be going through as they start navigating an uncertain business.

Each time you think you have seen it all, it can get worse.  He finally responded 3 days later.  Said, 'sorry I couldn't respond earlier I was recovering from being a bit sick'.  How sick do you have to be to not be able to respond to messages?  Was he in intensive care?  I decided to give him a chance  and asked him about his availability for an incall massage session.  He says - 'can do it in Manhattan but if you want me to bring a table to you there will be an additional charge.  We can also do it on the bed.' Does he not know what an incall is?  This guy is either totally naive or does now know what he is doing.  Or both.

Ha, maybe English is not his native language? Regardless, I have met a couple of masseurs in the past who also initially interpreted “incall” as meaning that they’d come to my place. I guess it’s a POV issue for some providers.

After some confusion with providers over this, I’ve learned to get around it by including some seemingly unnecessay language like: “Would you like to do an outcall at my hotel in Chelsea?” Or: “Can we do an incall at your place? You’re in midtown, right?”
