Forget the cottage — Prime Video is taking us "Off Campus."

Season 1, which is based on Kennedy's first "Off Campus" book, "The Deal," follows "an elite ice hockey team, and the women in their lives, as they grapple with love, heartbreak, and self-discovery — forging deep friendships and enduring bonds while navigating the complexities that come with transitioning into adulthood."

Elle Kennedy has been an industry in romance fiction (both MM an MF) for over 10 years (with Sarina Bowen). I actually didn't mind the HIM series. I don't think it's at Rachel's level (neither of them can be accused of writing great literature - and Rachel would be the first to admit it) but it was a fun read.

I can't believe she is allowed to write such disgusting filth.  heterosexuals having intercourse?!?  There is obviously something seriously wrong with that woman.

Sarcasm aside, after decades of conditioning, I'm fine with visual representations of heterosexuals having sex. It basically just washes over me. I can even enjoy heterosexual romance in movies. But in writing ... that for me is a total turn off. I just find it impossible to read.

to make the post even more spectacular, as hard as it is to believe that would be possible!

Josh Heuston is one of the cast:

Josh Heuston talks about 'Off Campus' changing Justin from an athlete to a musician.

If you like the pic, type his name into the search bar at AZmen and you'll get a bunch of sex scenes from other series, all straight except for one kissing scene.

Still able use the download function and watch without commercial breaks. But 8 episodes all close to an hour? Forecast: draggy with a chance of scattered outbreaks of 10-second forward clicks.

Forecast:  I'll just continue re-watching my favorite Heated Rivalry reaction videos.

One important character from "Off Campus" Season 1 will not re-enter the whirlwind hockey romance in Season 2, according to showrunner Louisa Levy.

The Prime Video adaptation of Elle Kennedy's "Off Campus" book series will focus each season on a different romantic couple at the fictional Briar University in Boston. In Season 1, feelings develop between music students Hannah Wells (Ella Bright) and Justin Kohl (Josh Heuston), though Hannah ends up with hockey star Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli).

In a recent interview with TV Guide, Levy was asked if Justin will return, given that the love triangle appears to be over. "Not next season, but I love Josh and I would not write him off if I can find a way to bring Justin back at some point," she said. "We never got a chance to meet Stella, who is the person he ends up with in the book. So maybe we'll find a way to fold him into a future season. We don't have him [available] next season, but never say never."

While some book-to-screen adaptations play it safe, treating the original source material as an unchangeable road map, Prime Video's "Off Campus" is having a little more fun with the overall universe of characters from Elle Kennedy's series of hockey romance novels — and it's causing even the savviest of book readers to drop their jaws at least once.

One of the biggest changes comes in the form of "Carter St. James V" (played by Charlie Evans of Hulu's "Paradise"), a character who has a one-night stand with Allie (Mike Abdalla) during her rocky road to romance with hockey player Dean (Stephen Kalyn). Of course, the characters' steamy hookup in Episode 7 is nothing compared to the bombshell that comes in the season finale: "Carter" is merely the name on this character's fake ID. He's really Hunter Davenport, a talented hockey player who just so happens to have a heated rivalry with — you guessed it — Dean

You're preaching to the choir. I can't  believe they'll show such filth on public airwaves!
