This is going to be a competitive summer for the pop music divas. Olivia Rodrigo and Ariana Grande both with confirmed summer releases as well. I can’t wait to hear Ariana’s new album.

I saw her yesterday at the Tribeca Festival where she presented a mini film based on the first six songs of the upcoming album, it was great. It will be on YouTube on Monday.

It is, and what did you think of the new songs?

I honestly was a bit disappointed with I Feel so Free but every track since has been amazing. It's a bit hard to judge the songs that had their debut in the short film as they were just snippets and not the full songs. I can't wait until I can listen to the whole album from start to finish and then I can let you know what my favorites are. Speaking of I Feel so Free I do like the one remix that has come out:

I listened to it a second time in full. Love Sensation sounds a lot better when you listen to it along with the whole album and fits great in it's spot. I love Bizarre as well. Here's the Apple music bonus track "Hot Sauce". I listened to it on Amazon music so had to do a search for it.

I’m no music critic but I find these songs are a throw back to the 80 s disco music scene. Nothing new and her voice seems muffled with all the distortions of whatever it is they use to mask it.

I have not listened to it yet, but Madonna's new album is getting very good reviews from multiple music publications.  They're saying it is her best album in decades.  They say she is returning to her roots.

I've listened to it 4 times now fully through and it's the best album for sure since the first Confessions album. You have to listen to it from start to finish. It's not meant to just jump in to different tracks. Her daughter is on the second to last track and she sounds just like Dua Lipa.
