Watching this story made me rethink don't if my relationships with providers. 

Moral of the story, keep some distance with you and your providers.

This happened several years ago, so I'm not sure why it's "news" now.

I'm not sure that I agree about the moral of the story.  I think you can have some genuine closeness with a provider, but I do agree that the deceased went overboard in a reckless manner when he handwrote a will leaving his entire estate to the soon-to-be-killer.
