My gut feeling is somehow telling me that you live (and play) in a major city.  If so, $500 for each 2-hour rendezvous is quite a bargain.

You sound like many of my friends who work in Silicon Valley, some of which are able to retire before they turn 40.  Reading & hearing about these stories often makes me question my life decisions…   😁
