Mike77 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Is it generally safe to assuming if an ad has two reviews that they are not fake and not police? basically do cops pose on Rentmen to trap people?

Taking this slightly of subject I know an escort with over 350 reviews and he still runs into people afraid of going to see him to a hotel room thinking he might be a police officer... caramelsub Posted January 16 Posted January 16 This topic has been discussed before many times. But it’s generally the other way around. In my experience, escorts are more afraid of law enforcement posing as clients. It’s much easier to arrest an escort by posing as a client, than to arrest a client by posing as an escort. I have had escorts ask me to lift my shirt up, and ask me if I’m affiliated with law enforcement before getting down to business. + Pensant and realestateguy75 1 1
maninsoma Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I generally think relying on Rentmen reviews makes no sense unless you can look at the individual reviewers and determine that they are legit. Two reviews is definitely too little to mean much of anything. That being said, I think the risk of a Rentmen ad being law enforcement entrapment is lower than the risk of it just being a con man trying to extract money from people without performing any service. It is probably safe to assume if an ad has two BAD reviews that they are not fake and not police. If an ad has two GOOD reviews, one is probably from the provider himself and the second is from his mom. Nightowl, liubit, Njguy2 and 4 others 7

How many stings have we heard about through RM? Whether 1 or 100, it doesn’t matter. If it bothers you, learn the keys “thousand shalt nots” to insulate yourself. MikeBiDude, Walt and + Pensant 1 1 1

I think the police are more interested in catching human traffickers and female who drug and rob clients vs men who provide for the LGBTQ community. It does happen although rarely. Law enforcement probably wouldn't spend all that time and effort building up one person just to catch some guys trying to have a little fun. In all my years hiring I never ran into a problem but each persons experiences are unique.
