Braziliancutee Posted December 8 Posted December 8 (edited) Hey guys so I am traveling around US for the next months and on Xmas time I will be alone. Could u give me some recommendations about which cities are better to pass Christmas alone? Edited December 8 by Braziliancutee
BuffaloKyle Posted December 8 Posted December 8 (edited) I'm sure you won't be alone on Xmas or at the least I hope you won't be. There are clients out there who unfortunately don't have any friends or family around and will be looking for a provider. Plenty of providers as well aren't available that day as they will be with friends or family so you should have a booking. Edited December 8 by BuffaloKyle Braziliancutee and maninsoma 1 1
DMonDude Posted December 8 Posted December 8 If it were me, i'd personally go to a big city like New York City, New York. Los Angeles, California. San Francisco, California. Austin, Texas and such. Big cities usually have plenty of people who don't celebrate/travel back to their home towns for the holidays. So should be plenty of people who would hire. Big cities never sleep. But also you probably could still do well in a small city too. Lot of people who may fly to their home towns for the holidays also may be the people who want to sneak away and hire for a bit to get away from dealing with family drama/stress that naturally comes with the holiday season for many. And if you just are thinking of stuff to do on your own. Big cities i feel have better holiday festivities. Like Orlando, Florida and Los Angeles, California both have a Universal Studios theme park and both have a Disney World/Disney Land (respectively) theme park that are Christmas/holiday themed at this time of year if you're into that kind of thing. Yes, sometimes we get nice weather during the winter (I remember my first Christmas in San Francisco since I was able to sit outside in a short-sleeved shirt and not feel cold), but lately it's been a chilly mid 50s for a high and a chilly mid 40s for a low. Sure, that isn't Chicago cold but it feels cold to me now, particularly anywhere near the water with the cold wind blowing in. I contrast that to Los Angeles right now, where the high today will be around 80.

I'll be in Wilton Manors (Ft Lauderdale), Florida, for Christmas 🎄this year. Hope to get some pool time in each day. It may not be "warm", but I shouldn't need a jacket even at night.
