Campus / Stock Bar "joining forces"?

Does anyone know more about Campus and Stock Bar "joining forces" and what it means?

The new name may be Campus Stock or Bar Campus. New slogan : "More dancers, more fun".

Perhaps one can be targeted towards men and another towards women.  
 

If they were to combine, not sure which one has the better space. Both have their pros and cons.

I was always a Campus man myself. For some reason Stock had a certain vibe and atmosphere that just wasn't for me. I haven't been in several years and I have no plans to go back. After that last time I saw how The Village had deteriorated and so many boarded up shops and my favorite restaurants gone. Sad comparted to what it used to be. Similar happened to Vancouver. I guess it happens everywhere. 😪

I think it’s the higher ceilings and more open space and sight lines at Stock that are ill-suited for this specific business type.  Campus has a more discreet atmosphere.

There was also an atmosphere and attitude difference I detected. I enjoyed Campus and a few of the other bars but never Stock with all its fame.

Campus Stock? Bar Campus?
The name of this new partnership/collaboration/joint venture/LLC or whatever, should be a portmanteau (we're talking about Montreal, so Bozo figured he would give his post a French flavor by using a mot francais) of the names of both bars:

1. Stock + Campus  =  Stampus
or
2. Campus + Stock  =   Cock

Bozo prefers the latter.
