He's very handsome, looks just like his pictures, and very friendly. Seems straight — he remained clothed for the massage and there was a towel for draping on the table that I wound up getting under because I couldn't tell whether it was there for my comfort or his. It wound up being a purely therapeutic massage, and a rare great one at that, so I'm not complaining — but next time I'll be more explicit and ask if he also does sensual/erotic, especially for $220/hr.

That rate seems high for purely therapeutic session.

Agree and he should not advertise for sensual massage and include shirtless pics in his ad if he is going to only offer therapeutic massage while fully clothed. Lots of other choices at that price point that deliver exceptional therapeutic/erotic sessions.

I saw him as well and do very much recommend as long as you go in with the correct intentions. He is very skilled at massage and that aspect was amazing. Mine was also very sensual with a lot of fun mutual touch, he stayed clothed but I was undraped. No HE but lots of fun sensual touch throughout, and overall very handsome and a really sweet guy

Normally my rule is if the masseur doesn't undress, I assume he doesn't want to be touched, so I didn't.  I remember my massage being very sensual, so I was confused why he didn't disrobe, even at the end.

It’s always YMMV, but I definitely haven’t found that to be the case. Some of my fave MT is when the masseur is still clothed. The process of discovery can be very fun haha. You have to use your people skills of course and listen to the situation. You can tell if someone wants to be touched or not pretty quickly and you have to follow along with that. He was definitely encouraging and leaning into me touching him but he did stay robed. We talked after and he said he’s cool with sensual etc but just likes to keep it quasi-professional which im very OK with. Planning on repeating sometime soon.

Normally, the masseur is at least shirtless, so I don't encounter this situation often.  I didn't get the sense for me that he wanted me touching him, which is fine.  I appreciate he wants to keep it professional.  Other guys are much more explicit that they are ok with me touching them, etc.  The issue is, for what he is charging, there are other options in NYC that charge similar prices for erotic massages that are unambiguous in their allowances of how far to go.  I have to draw the line on pricing somewhere.  If he was the only option in a remote city, I would regularly see him.  It was a great massage otherwise.
