Its an $80 difference just to get in and if you want privacy that is another $150 for a private room for 20 minutes or you are in a large room with multiple people .  If you mean the weekly Adonis events (of which I havent seen any consistently for a while) then yeah kinda similar but the dancers are nude at BD and the lap dance areas are better separated.  Last few times Ive done Adonis the lap dance area was shared at Red Eye and Side Door.   Some of dancers are far more aggressive with customers as well at Adonis because of less oversight.  Ive seen drunk/high customers get taken advantage of more than once at Adonis.  Go to each and observe and you'll immediately see a difference with some of the dancers and know who to avoid.  Even the dancers Ive talked to would rather work at BD as its a better event to work at.  Sorry you didn’t have a better experience.  There is a lot of crossover at the events because local dancers need to work multiple days a week like in any other job.

I don’t need to go to each and observe, I know what happens at Adonis lol , which is why  I had other expectations about BD at RedEye. I also didn’t find such a different roster of dancers. I am very aware of the crossover and that’s also why I was curious about going there. I’m happy that you enjoy it but unfortunately, I didn’t. it’s alright.

Yeah im not trying to argue or anything.  Im just wondering what exactly you’re expectations were going in as in what did you think was going to be different for example?   I admittedly preferred when BD had his parties in the loft but i still prefer the experience overall at BD compared to Adonis.  I think Spunk has better venues currently.

I saw a lot of posts about less pushy dancers and different vibe so I thought there were going to be a different set of dancers from Spunk, Adonis, etc. Seems pretty much the same to me. I’m not saying Adonis is any better fyi. I do agree Spunk has good venues but I’ve always enjoyed The Monster so I’m biased there lol

Oh ok i see.   The pushiest dancers at Adonis and Nowhere bar i generally do not see at Spunk and BD so that is now the biggest difference other than nudity and BD and Prince are easily visible and available if needed.   The vibe at BD used to be more relaxed and laid back when they had parties in the loft and the playlist was generally older songs and it was quiter.  Now it feels more like a regular bar/club with louder more modern music so the differences are less noticeable.  Monster is a great venue i agree and always a great time.

I cant please everyone.  I was counting money and dealing with  closing issues with the bar. We try and do a good job putting this together.  Adonis is collapsing.  And dancers need to work somewhere. I been trying to weed out the trouble makers. Our drink prices are no different than most of the Gay Bars. No matter what I do or what we do at red eye it's not going to be enough for some of you guys on here that's obvious. So I'm not going to be talking about this anymore. We try very very hard putting this together and it ain't easy. Daniel who owns Red Eye and myself a part of the gay community here in New York City not some straight guy looking to take advantage of you guys. I don't take advantage of anybody. So maybe you'll come and visit us again. And I'll tell you what you see me at the door and I'll let you in for nothing.

I never complained about costs or said you were taking advantage of anyone (I also don’t think Adonis ever did). I was actually disappointed I left with more cash than I was expecting lol . This isn’t about RedEye either, it’s a good venue and I’ve been to other parties there as well. Good for you to keep doing this, obviously a lot of folks enjoy it.

Had a great time on Sunday, thought the dancers were pretty polite and not pushy.  Not one was pissed when I declined a dance.  It was a fun vibe.

Yeah its a great event and its low stress.   Theyve made a lot of improvements since it started too.  The chairs are much better and the privacy dividers are set up better.

Im not seeing anything wrong with the weather.  It will be cold yes but thats all i see.

Do any of these venues - Adonis, Buffdaddy's or Spunk - provide childcare?  I can't afford a sitter.

Its supposed to be very cold 🥶 no snow. Actually the weather hasn't effected us that much. People have been coming. So as they say the show must go on. We have a lot of families to feed now 😆
