I fall right in the middle.

Kinsey used the words rather than the numbers when he interviewed people.  He had a coded worksheet that he used to record answers that wouldn’t mean anything to someone else who read them as part of his way of keeping his volunteer subjects anonymous.

The Liam Neeson film “Kinsey” is a pretty good film that I enjoyed.  Not great, but worth watching.

Dr. Fritz Klein followed up on Kinsey’s work and came up with a multi-dimensional grid that I think gives a better representation of a person’s real orientation.  It also doesn’t address gender identity along with orientation.

Take the Klein Sexual Orientation Grid (KSOG) here.

The answers aren’t as concise, but they are more descriptive.  My Klein grid scores reflect that I behaved more as a heterosexual when I was a young adult although I was always attracted to the whole gender spectrum and my behavior has come more in line with my attractions as I’ve aged.

The questions are so overly simplistic that I cant imagine anyone being surprised by the result.

Do you have sex with men?

Do you prefer sex with men?

Do you think of men when you j.o. ?

Do you lose your hard-on when you think about a woman ?

IF YOU ANSWERED YES TO ALL OF THESE YOU'RE GAY.

I mean....*duh*. 🙄

Ok I just took the Klein test. I actually prefer Kinsey. Klein gave me a 6.8 --gay but incidentally straight because I answered a few questions about in the past wanting a relationship not exclusively same sex. I think maybe the question should be reworded. I was  only talking  about a friendship relationship not a 'relationship' relationship.

INCIDENTALLY STRAIGHT!!!!

I'LL GIVE YOU INCIDENTALLY STRAIGHT.

HERE's YOUR INCIDENTALLY STRAIGHT

As Mrs. Strakosh sings in Funny Girl, "When a girl's incidentals are no bigger than two lentils, then to me it doesn't spell success."

That lyric has stayed with me for years since I first saw the movie around age 11. If that doesn't prove I'm a total Kinsey 6, I don't know what does.
