Anyone Book 3-Hour (or Longer) Massages?

I have a couple of regular masseurs I hire for 3-hour sessions. They’re very skilled and can deliver long, consistent work.

These are mostly therapeutic sessions. They don’t advertise on the usual sites, and I’ve actually mentioned one of them in another post. One of them even said he could go for 5 hours without a problem. To keep variety in the longer sessions, they use stones, cups, etc... but they’re actually massaging the whole time. It’s not like they put hot stones on me and then take a break. They keep working.

How common is this? Do you ever do longer sessions?

I do this often but it usually a mix of massage and play.

Longer sessions are not at all uncommon. Years ago I would hire this very nice man for 4-hour sessions that were a combination of massage, play, hot tub soaks, drinks and conversation. Three to five hours of massage seems far too long to me, but if you enjoy it and your provider has the stamina then all the power to you.

Well, with one of these providers, recently I paid for 3 hours, but the actual time we spent together was 5 around hours. The massage itself lasted the full 3 hours.

The extra time was spent catching up, talking, showering (not together), and him showing me some stretching and self-massage techniques, which I was even able to try on him. We were both nude the entire time, and it made the whole experience even better.

And of course, I tip generously.

I hired my regular go-to masseur for a 5-hour session in late August. Massage, a little play. Then, another masseur joined us for 4-hands and play (he was here for 90 minutes); after he left, my regular and I showered, had a snack, and then resumed the massage. It was a great birthday present to myself.
