Not a huge surprise as he had to be convinced to come back for this season. The only surprise of course is that he's leaving midseason with tomorrow's episode his last one. BuffaloKyle Posted July 16 Posted July 16 We have our first SNL cast member departure announcement of this summer. Chloe Fineman is leaving after seven seasons. Chloe Fineman leaving ‘SNL’ after 7 seasons Here is the current cast list then: Repertory players Michael Che Mikey Day Andrew Dismukes Chloe Fineman (announced departure on July 16) Marcello Hernández James Austin Johnson Colin Jost Sarah Sherman Kenan Thompson Bowen Yang (left mid season, final episode on December 20, 2025) Featured players Tommy Brennan Jeremy Culhane Ben Marshall Ashley Padilla Kam Patterson Veronika Slowikowska Jane Wickline
jeezifonly Posted July 17 Posted July 17 Lorne can shuffle cast members in and out, but keeping a 90m format puts way too much unfunny material on the air every week. Good comedy writers have more options now, and SNL is no longer the zenith it was. A fan since its first broadcast in '75, I can now be relied upon to not watch it every week.
