I'm not sure how I feel about this.

I would think zoo animals over time could be domesticated to accept processed foods.

Evidently, the process is being administered as humanely as possible.

"It also accepts horses for feeding its animals, which it says on its website are euthanized by a zookeeper and a veterinarian.'

Whoever wrote this story was either laughing or crying putting this into public service announcement language.

I wonder if the zoo has a dispenser by the lion enclosure where little Johnny can buy a hamster to throw to the lions…
