RM Censoring Ad Text Big Time

I hadn't looked at my client page text in awhile but did today and there were three words I believe censored to just *******. One was just the word sexy even. I had to edit it a couple of times until it totally approved everything. I've noticed on many ads a lot of *******. Just a heads up to clients and providers check your ads and do some editing as some provider ads have a ton of censoring.

Let’s hope it’s a glitch…I find when user-driven sites are censored that way, especially for a 21+ crowd, it’s extremely off-putting.

I've seen examples of completely innocuous words being censored.

If I understand correctly, that is F'd up. So a provider pays a fee. The site then ***** without any notice to the paying provider, and has to find out later down the road? The site should at least give a warning. Even Grindr, as messed up as that platform is, warns you that you can't say sugar or post specific icons in your profile.

Are you referring to RentMasseur or RentMen?  I've long noticed words like "sexy" being replaced with asterisks on RentMasseur.  I'd be surprised if RentMen didn't allow such words given all of the other sexual information listed in escorts' profiles.

I'm referring to Rentmen.

This reminds me of an incident we had at the bank I worked for. One (1) employee changed the mailing address of one (1) customer to the branch's address, ordered a debit card on the customer's account, had it sent to the branch, and started stealing from the customer. This triggered the fraud department to block the use of every branch's address for customer's accounts.

What could possibly go wrong?

A week after this change was implemented the prestigious law firm whose headquarters was in one of our regional headquarters buildings and who was a long-time customer (75+ years) attempted to open an additional bank account. They were blocked from doing so because they had the same address as the branch located in the building. Residents of the 30-story condo tower where we had a branch  were similarly prevented from doing so. Every single customer and prospect located in the same building as a branch was affected. Thankfully, the IT department (who warned of unintended consequences) designed the change to be easily reversible and was able to reverse it within a couple of days.

Lets hope R***m*n c***s to its senses.

Yeah I was referring to RentMen. Like I said I've had the word sexy in my client page text for a long time and had just seen it had been replaced by **** the day I posted.

The puritanical ethos in our society, culture and American laws motivating such censorship is exhausting.

It’s like, yes you can have a male escort site, but you can’t talk about male escorting on the site. And oh by the way, those pushing for these policies are having gay sex on RentMen. Hypocrisy.

I've also had rentmen censor mundane, ordinary words in the messages. Quite annoying as it implied that I used a swear word. Literally, I was just chatting with a provider "I hope dinner was great" and that swam through as "I hope dinner was *****"... Whatever they're using to censor messages needs some tweaking. But I'd assume they're looking to avoid some sort of legal liability on any sexually explicit conversations rather than censor for censorship's sake.

Its the website. I have written several reviews recently on RM and some of my words were censored with "******" . I assume they dont want anything sexual written on the website since its "pornstar" and not "escort" website.
