+ Gar1eth Posted May 6 Posted May 6 (edited) In the 4th paragraph-the first word. I have no idea what 'Genoveva' means. Please enlighten me. Edited May 6 by Gar1eth
mike carey Posted May 6 Posted May 6 It's most likely nothing to do with 'Escort Ads' as such, it most likely refers to Genevieve (or Genoveva) of Brabant: Genevieve of Brabant - Wikipedia EN.WIKIPEDIA.ORG The story is also the basis of the Schumann opera Genoveva. What aspect of the legend, the underlying story or even the opera that the escort is alluding to is beyond me. I very much doubt this will ever come up in another escort ad, although some of our more learned gentlemen may be aware of, or be able to incorporate themes into play, so inadvertently the Lounge is probably the best place for this question rather than the Questions forum!!

+ pizzaBoy Posted May 7 Posted May 7 I agree. There's more to it than that. His own private joke? A Latino thing? Feel like responding... "No, we don't know what you mean..."
BuffaloKyle Posted May 7 Posted May 7 With the image of water drops before the word is he referring to golden showers or watersports you think?
Guest Posted May 7 Posted May 7 One meaning is white phantom, so he could be referring to Caucasian males. The other meanings relate to females.
+ ApexNomad Posted May 7 Posted May 7 “Genoveva” isn’t a widely recognized slang term or euphemism in English or gay culture—it’s a Spanish/Portuguese female name (like Genevieve in English). In this context, it seems to be used as a personal code or nickname. For what, I’m not sure. He also spells Fuck with three Ks.
