Requesting to massage the masseur/therapist

I have asked masseurs if they every receive massages themselves; that opens the conversations up; I may say that I am an amateur but do have a table, and it ends up us trading places; it's great fun!

It’s happened with me a couple of times where my client has asked if they can swap roles for a little bit of the session. They were ok at it but it makes me anxious and I can’t relax, maybe because I think they’ll do something wrong and injure me. I much prefer to be giving the massage.

I have only done a handful of times, and usually I’ll ask before hand if they would be into me massaging them as a part of my appointment..
