Do you think it's because it's Ash Wednesday?   

It just seems like there are usually quite a few people with "Available Now" on their profiles, but mysteriously, not today.

I do not always trust the Available now feature. I have contacted masseurs that say they are available and they respond that they are not or do not get a response. I like the old feature on Rent Massuer that use to list the time they logged on. It let you know the logged on recently vs hours before. Sometimes masseurs are logged in all day so it's not in real time.

Its not COMPLETELY ridiculous to think that could affect their schedule.  Even when people aren't actively religious, they can sometimes carry certain superstitions from their faith into their daily lives.

Since Ash Wednesday is a day of repentance, it's not unreasonable for the MANY escorts from Latin America to recognize this as ONE day of the year to reflect and keep things quiet.

I think it's because it's tax season.  Many escorts are busy reviewing their income and deductions with their accountants and tax preparers, and making sure they've funded their Roth IRAs and paid the appropriate amount of Social Security and Medicare taxes for the year.  Since most are self-employed, they won't be taking the simple standard deduction.
