+ azdr0710 Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 while Rosa Parks's arrest directly led to the boycott and eventual desegregation of Montgomery buses, it was a deliberate and choreographed action by the local NAACP.....she was felt to be a respectable and 'safe' representative for the fight (and was a secretary at the local NAACP).......however, in the months before, others had been arrested who did not receive or seek attention.....
