Axel Hotel Berlin, Full of Escorts?

Been to Berlin lots but never had a desire to stay at the Axel until I read escorts cruise the halls and lobby constantly. I've been to both Axels in Barcelona but unfortunately theres none of that action there. Tabasco, Pinnochio and ToyBoy are just a block away but I'm assuming the many escorts there are just as rough as the last time i was there 4 years ago. I'm hoping I'm not getting into a hotel full of those guys hanging around. Hopefully they only let high class hookers in (unless they're good-looking enough to make up for the danger of course).

Was in Berlin two weeks ago, despite all the reviews booked Axel (stayed there many years ago too). Staff was friendly, room was clean and no, didn’t notice anything unusual, many male guests yet wasn’t ware of any escorts cruising the halls or lobby (did visit the wellness just one time early in the morning for some exercise). All things considered looks like Axel have upped their game and for the escorts one still needs to go to Tabasco and Pinocchio.

sounds like a fun place to stop by and open grindr. I've always been a little shy of the Mercure next to Pinnochio as far as taking guys in. If they let escorts in they'd be a whorehouse in a week.

Yeah indeed a lot of clients invite escorts to their Axel hotel room. But some escorts also stay in Axel during their visit in Berlin and do incalls as well as OF collabs in their hotel room… always nice to meet the other guests in the outdoor jacuzzi on the rooftop 😈😈😈

Your best bet is to just order in on Rent Men. Rentmen .com was started in Germany and I have found some good guys on the site normally average between 200-250 euro an hour. 

I have heard of what you’re talking about from friends but nothing ever good. Also, I like the privacy of having it one on one.

My experience with Tabasco and Pinnochio has been only seeing rough straight Turkish escorts that will rob you unless you're extremely careful. Has the situation improved?

Agree that you’ve to be careful. Haven’t hired from/in those bars, mainly because I can’t figure out how to, what’s the common practice and what are reasonal rates. Next time I’ll ask the bartender or other patrons for some insights.

Depends, somehow I like the excitement of those places and it’s what you see is what you get. Although Boysclub21 in Amsterdam, Cityboys near Dusseldörf and Villa Giani in London are more convenient.

I went to Pinnochio for so many years and it was wonderful. Always very crowded, always good-lookers. The huge change was when Romania and Bulgaria came into the EU suddenly and very rough guys from there took over the place. My last visit i was pickpocketed inside there while some rough guys tussled me in front of the bartenders.

After that Blueboy opened a block up which was also packed but much safer as well as ToyBoy across the street from Pinnochio. ToyBoy is still there and very packed but very nice but Blueboy closed during the pandemic and didn't reopen. 

Even a few years ago i noticed that while the escort bars in Berlin and Hamburg were mostly guys from Romania, the good looking guys were all online. If visiting escorts or popular locals stay at Axel it makes sense that there would be activity there.

To keep things in context, the average doctor in Germany makes 50€ an hour, so maybe let's tone down the sanctimony. If you won't pay less than 200€, it's you that's being extorted, my friend.

Unless you're a local and a regular, my experience has been that the bartenders genuinely don't want you there. I've never felt so unwelcome giving a bar my business.

I didn't say or imply that. You're accusing people of exploitation for paying a reasonable rate. Just because you are overpaying a ridiculous amount for services doesn't make everyone else criminals. If you want to flex, don't do it by accusing others of abuse.

Been there, done that. Some of my all time favorite "club" memories are from that space. 

Super fun and pretty relaxed for such a notorious space. It’s not exactly a place you just walk into though. You’ll need look the part and do your homework. Preferably show up with some German friends who are regulars. Otherwise your odds of getting in just aren’t that great, and you’ll most likely be sent on your way with the dreaded "Tut mir leid, heute Abend nicht." from the famously strict doorman.

But if you do manage to get in, you’re in for the night of your life.
