Maxx00 Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 Some potentially concerning news about BJs. Flew out to Atlanta last weekend and was greeted by a quiet bar on Friday evening, no dancers. After looking around and checking the outdoor balcony, one of the patrons called me over and asked if I was “looking for the boys”. He then told me there were no dancers for the weekend. Something may have happened earlier in the week that caused the bar owners to try to go low profile. When I was leaving, the guy checking IDs at the entrance didn’t know when the dancers would return. The next day, talking to someone “in the know” said he didn’t know when or if dancing would return. The dancers had shown up on Friday and were told no dancing that weekend and sent home so it sounds like a last minute decision. He did say earlier in the week, all curtains were removed from the booths which really puts a cramp on private dances. The reason given was that they were not fire proof and were a hazard. Sounds like the authorities were trying whatever they could to shut things down (my interpretation). When I was there briefly on Friday, I noticed the curtains had been replaced with floor to ceiling silver party streamers. Anyway, my contact is really worried this could be permanent. Hopefully, it’s just a temp thing and dancing can resume shortly if it hasn’t already. It would be a shame to lose the last hot spot in Atlanta after the closure of SR. I actually enjoyed BJs more than SR on most visits. Had especially wonderful times at BJs earlier this year. If anyone has updates, please respond. I’m not in the ATL area so I have no way to check on the current status myself. Wish them luck! n2guysnatl, + azdr0710, ontheroad and 8 others 3 2 4 2
john4112nola Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 Any updates on BJ Roosters ? I have googled and searched twitter, but have not found anything. ontheroad 1
john4112nola Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 I got a response back from one of the BJ Rooster's dancers. The curtains were removed for 3 weeks, but are now back up. The dancers are no longer allowed to show their butts, so they have to wear shorts or boxers while dancing on the bar and walking around. Not sure what caused this change. Might check it out sometime in October. jockstrapdaddy, Duwop, + Vegas_Millennial and 5 others 4 1 3

Kyle t Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Hi guys. Anyone know if they have dancers on Sunday- Mondays? Work trip early in the week to the Atlanta area

Work trip early in the week to the Atlanta area They have dancers seven days a week. They close at midnight Sundays, 3am Monday-Saturday. I think the dancers start nightly at 8pm. Sunday/Monday will have fewer dancers to choose from but also less competition for their attention from patrons. 🙂 Have fun! + Vegas_Millennial, Kyle t and + Cock Eyed Optimist 2 1
Maxx00 Posted November 10, 2024 Author Posted November 10, 2024 Quick BJs update: Stopped by recently when I was in Atlanta and am happy to report everything is pretty much back to normal. Lots of guys, lots of customers, curtains back up on the booths, lots of fun ensued. 😁 If you’re in the Atlanta area, I encourage you to stop by and support one of the last places of its kind. Maxx00 Posted March 8, 2025 Author Posted March 8, 2025 Yep, was just there last weekend and as fun as ever! Have fun and report back! As always, YMMV depending on the dancer. + Vegas_Millennial, + azdr0710 and Loseer2 3
+ RyanDean Posted May 27, 2025 Posted May 27, 2025 Looking forward to an ATL trip in August. Any updates on the current reality at BJ Roosters? Also, any tips for this longtime stripper enthusiast who'll be hitting BJRoosters for the first time? + azdr0710 and Loseer2 2
Brak Posted Monday at 01:41 AM Posted Monday at 01:41 AM lol. I just got here at 8:45 on a Sunday, and there are 2 other customers here and no dancers. Strike that, one dancer just walked in. Guess we’ll see if it gets busier.
Brak Posted Monday at 02:35 AM Posted Monday at 02:35 AM Okay. There is now a DJ and the dancers came out around 9:30. Probably about 7 or 8 dancers and about 15 customers now. + Vegas_Millennial and + azdr0710 1 1
Brak Posted Monday at 03:10 AM Posted Monday at 03:10 AM Had a lovely chat with one of the dancers and he says dancers start at 9:30 on sundays and that wednesdays after midnight might as well be a weekend. + azdr0710 1
Brak Posted Monday at 03:53 AM Posted Monday at 03:53 AM Overall I’d say if you’re going to come on a Sunday you can have a good time but get here at 10 nate_sf 1
AtlantaDude Posted Monday at 03:10 PM Posted Monday at 03:10 PM Thanks for the info. Were the dancers in good shape and handsome? How much for a private dance?
Brak Posted Monday at 07:31 PM Posted Monday at 07:31 PM Pretty standard $20 a song. Pretty wide range of dancers from twinks to bodybuilders to bears and muscle bears. Poppie and + Vegas_Millennial 2
Brak Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Wednesday was pretty busy and now I’m here on a Friday and there’s a good range of dancers too. brettnyc 1
