Can no longer search USA cities on Rentmen

So since last week I noticed when I input a city in the search bar, and it's a city in the USA, it'll say "no results found" in the suggested list that pops up.

Cities in Canada still work. The few other countries I've tried also work. Has anybody else had the same problem? I'm accessing the site from Europe. 

When I do a general search (in "all locations"), it will display results from USA cities but I seem unable to search specifically in the cities themselves.

It works for me.  I use RentMen.eu

Alright, I got in touch with Rentmen support. They've purposively blocked all USA locations unless you're actually physically in the USA to comply with regulations (they didn't mention which ones) and to protect the users. 

What I think is stupid since the whole of the USA is still included in the search results. Anyway. Ugh...

I sometimes have this problem and figured out that it happens when I'm using a VPN and my proxy is outside the United States.  If the proxy is in the US, I can search the US listings.  I imagine that you can search listings in US cities on Rentmen.eu with a non-US proxy, but I haven't bothered to test that out.

For what is worth, I'm not in the US right now and I can search cities in the US without any issue

Then I have no clue what's going on and if even Rentmen themselves know it. I appreciate you letting me know!

I use rent.men from inside US but with VPN from European proxy, and have no issues either.

Well, must not forget the overused suggestion: Did you try rebooting, or deleting cookies? 😁

If I have my VPN on and my location is set outside the US RM wont let me search in any US cities…there is some way around that but I don’t remember what I did.

I didn't on my phone (cause logging in everywhere again is a hassle) but on all of my other devices it's the same problem...
