From Times of India article concerning an Indian national in Viet Nam,

the hospital in Hanoi admitted prior patients with objects inserted in their anus, but was a first with a live animal.

The article claimed the eel could not be removed out through the anus because a whole lime blocked the way.   Hmmm...not sure I believe any of this.
