foxy Posted June 12, 2024 Posted June 12, 2024 I missed this show when it was at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts so was happy to catch up with it today at the Tate. Well worth the additional fee of 22 pounds I spent several hours viewing about 60 paintings many of which never travel. In addition to the paintings there were actual clothes that some of the sitters wore plus photos of Sargent and some of his friends. It’s a truly sumptuous show for any Sargent fans. cany10011, Cooper and pubic_assistance 1 2
+ nycman Posted June 12, 2024 Posted June 12, 2024 That show really was the unexpected highlight of my resent trip to London. Thanks for sharing. Strangely, there haven’t been any pics from the Yoko Ono show at the Tate Modern yet…….grin mike carey 1
