Absolutely correct regarding being in the “bible belt.” His family is not Christian but I get your point. Mark is not straight at all. He lies to everyone.

Whatever one's religious persuasion, the societal environment of Huntsville, Alabama is fundamentalist Christian, and, the old adage "when in Rome, do as the Romans do" applies. He should not be faulted as a "liar" in making an effort to "fit in" and "get along" in his life in that place.

I can attest to this and I have met Mark twice. @gmoney seems very adamant to push his agenda which makes me leery.
