Correct.  I was there this past Feb.  I went on a Tuesday… it was trans night that night.

Dancers tend to arrive by midnight. Agree that the set up is less private, but with the right dancer you can do more than @Spunk since there are no sentries to keep a watch with a flashlight.

How are the private rooms at VV Bar, the Saturday night pop ups? I’m planing to check it out this weekend.

Fairytale can be hit or miss. Late on Fridays or Saturdays are the busiest which increases the chances of a variety of  boys. It is a small space which can feel cramped  at times. The last time I visited there was some bar dancing but mostly the boys were working the room looking for privates. The spaces for lap dances are basic but adequate and I don’t feel watched by a monitor. I’ve had some good times at Fairytale with some beautiful men. Good luck!

Agree with most of what has been said.
FairyTale is a small bar with 2 or 3 high top tables. The Lap Dance spaces are separated off from the main area by individual translucent curtains. There isn't a lot of privacy. The performers tend to be the same each night - heavily tattooed Dominicans and Cubans. Many of the guys tend to be aggressive. But it's their job. Rent is due on the first of the month, the girlfriend wants new shoes, and the baby needs diapers.
As was written earlier, most of the guys don't start arriving till about midnight.

Agree on the FairyTale comments - aggressive dancers, not all the guys in the email show up, very small space so nowhere to really “hide” to look around and check out the guys. That being said, I always check it out every time I’m in NYC, hoping find a diamond in the rough. 😀

Most of them are. I find the unattractive ones to be the most aggressive. It's a gay scene. That type of aggressiveness will lead them no where. Once was told off by one of them since I was there and refused a lap dance over and over again and asked me "why was I here" with a rude tone of voice. Definitely will net get a penny from me if that's how they treat patrons.

I do the same thing hoping hot guys actually show up!
