Atlanta in Feb

It's been a long time since I visited Atlanta. But, I'm going back this spring.  I've been looking into the city a little.

Tokyo Valentino sounds like an interesting place.  They have more than one location, but I understand the now on Cheshire Bridge Road is really interesting.  On one floor, they are a large adult toy shop.

Here's the website for that side of the business: https://www.tokyovalentino.com/cheshire-bridge-rd-atlanta.html

On another floor, they have a "Lifestyle Club" that seems to cater to people of all orientations.  Here's the website for the club side of the business:  https://tokyolifestyleclub.com/index.html#gallery

I read that the parking lot is a cruising spot.

Me, again.

Traveling to ATL for work in early February.  Assuming midtown is still the place to stay for a gay on the prowl.  Recommended sexy hotels?  Recommended places to visit?

We ended up staying at the Kimpton Shane in Midtown.  I can recommend this very sexy hotel.

Guest floor elevators require access control.  I appreciate the safety factor, but meeting your "friend" like that is not the vibe that I enjoy when hiring.  Anyone else have similar feelings?  Or how do you have that sexy moment on first site when you have to go to the lobby and meet the friend at the elevator banks...when it's possible you will have others in the elevator with you?

If there are others in the elevator with me, I grab my companion's ass, give him a kiss 😘, then say "How's your mom doing, son?"

Seriously though, I don't find it a bother to meet someone in the hotel lobby.  I don't select hotels based on their elevator access.  There are too many other priorities for me: Daily Housekeeping, comfortable beds, and no Resort Fees.

Lol  I kind of did that with the person I brought to ATL, who is significantly younger than me.  And more than once this weekend, people did confuse him with my son.

I’ve hosted dozens of escorts in large hotels with key access on the elevators. Surprisingly I can’t recall many times when there were more than just myself and my date. Since I stay on higher floors, the ride up is sorta interesting with a new date. I like to initiate a conversation rather than just stare at the closed doors.

If the elevator does have others in it, I find they are usually wrapped up in themselves or with their companions and don’t give us much attention if any.

If it’s going to be an entire evening or overnight, of course a side detour to the bar/lounge is a way to break the ice. On those dates I generally like to go to a restaurant outside the hotel.

I also stayed at a Kimpton last summer in Toronto and over the course of two nights had three escorts whom I met in the lobby and escorted up in the keyed elevator. One I knew from previous dates and the other evening the two were a pair who arrived together.

I waited in the lobby which was close to the reception so there was no way of being discreet in the meetings or avoid taking them past the front desk to the elevator directly. It was tourist season though and the lobby was busy with people coming and going.

Also the crowd was a very mixed group, lots of younger people and different races ( Toronto is very multicultural). They all looked cool and affluent, which they would have to be to afford the room rates which were close to $500 a night plus. I felt I fit right  in with my much younger companions who were very easy on the eyes. I always try to dress appropriately to fit the occasion and the company. That way you don’t stand out more than what may be obvious  anyway (age difference).
