foxy
This was my 3rd visit to the museum and today I spent 7 hours there. Still not enough time. The Impressionist section is swoon inducing. + Charlie, Cooper, cany10011 and 2 others 2 1 1
+ nycman
Now you’re just taunting me….grin. Even for an art nerd like me, 7 hours at the Musee d’Orsay is impressive. It’s not THAT huge. Glad you’re enjoying it so much! Please say hello to Ours Blanc by François Pompon (1855 - 1933) He’s one of my favorites: cany10011 and + Charlie 1
foxy
I have tremendous stamina for art museums if I say so myself. Last year I did two back to back days of 6 hours each at the Prado. A few years before that I did all of Museum Island in Berlin in 3 days from opening to closing hours. I just switch into something like a drug induced state and detach from my sore feet. Slow museum walking is harder than jogging especially on marble floors. I wish this stamina carried over into other areas. I do like the Art Nouveau at the D’Orsay. cany10011

Still not enough time. Impressive. Was there a.few weeks ago. (Also my third time). When I'm traveling with others I could never manage so much time in one place. I hope when I am old, I can simply pay someone who pushes me around the great museums in a wheelchair...so I don't have to worry about time spent reading the little cards.
