LA90046
Five times over the past week I have received messages on Scruff from blank profiles who introduce themselves as "Fazza" or "Handan" from Dubai and send a pic of the (very handsome) Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed AlMaktoun, the Crown Prince of Dubai. This "Fazza scam" has been going on for years targeting straight women but now the scammers seem to be targeting the gays now as well. A couple of links about it below as well one of the pics of the Crown Prince for reference. Similarly I have had three slim profiles, typically with only one or two profiles pics of handsome, muscular men message me "hi," and then after I respond they have all replied -- verbatim -- "I don't check here often. You can give me your number and I will write to you" so scammer bots. Getting similar scammers on Grindr. Just a heads up. Be Aware of This Online Scam. wornoutcowboy
I was contacted on Planet Romeo by the same scammer. He certainly knows a lot about the prince. We even had a video call where he pretty much hid his face behind his "nephew." From what I have read he will next ask me to buy a robe for his father the king upon us all meeting. Do people actually send money? TorontoDrew
