I DM escorts on rentmen, explaining what I want and ask if they offer this service, and all I get is an automatic reply with a link to their onlyfans, that's it.

anyone else? Or again, just me.

I haven't encountered anyone giving an auto-reply that they only do onlyfans.  There's a lot of guys on RM that also do OF that definitely prefer to prioritize that side of their business, just haven't seen anyone flat out saying they're not really available.

Some guys say they are just there to get video/Skype customers. Others pretend they are escorts as advertising for OF and PPVs through it. They charge $100 to $300 for a personal vid or a Skype and they do all they can. OF gets a 20% cut of the PPV's through it's site and that's where a lot of guys get in trouble with OF trying to sneak around PPVing on OF with it's 20% cut.

I like having a guy who has a Twitter or IG I can see but when OF is mentioned I suspect he's just pushing subscriptions and PPVs. .

Yes, I really like when there is a Twitter linked that actually adds value with media and posts that give insight into the provider's personality. Protected or Not Found Twitters give me the opposite feeling.

If I have to fix the Twitter link and it does actually come up, then I would say that it is still a positive, but it does make me wonder about their attention to detail and how it is that they goofed and never even tested that their own link worked.

If it's actually an OF account name that they've stuck in there, then that is a definite negative for me.

I think it’s all interconnected these days. On OF and Twitter I’ve seen links back to the Rentmen profile. And on Twitter a post showing a NSFW pic with a caption like “who wants this today …” but it’s clearly not about hooking up (for free).

Regarding the auto responses - I don’t believe providers don’t have time to check or don’t bother since that’s a potential source of income. I suspect they prefer moving conversations to text as soon as possible off the site.

I tried setting an auto reply on RentMen Messenger a while back. I didn’t like it. It’s impersonal and off putting.

RentMen Messenger is very buggy and I can’t get push notifications to work no matter how many times I turn the appropriate settings to “on”. Sometimes it shows the red dot indicating a new message if I happened to be online within a few minutes before the new message came through. Most of the time no alert at all. Then sometimes I get random email alerts about a message from weeks or months ago (that I already saw and responded to). It’s strange.

I prefer texting 1000% because the chances I will see and respond in a timely manner are much, much higher. I understand many clients prefer to start communicating on RentMen Messenger, and they have their good reasons for doing so. It’s just annoying for me. But I do check it a few times a day, and more frequently if I have an active conversation going.
