But I've heard stories of cats or dogs seeing their "hooman" packing a suitcase, interpret it as a looming abandonment, and then pooping in a corner as a mark of disappointment and disapproval. These beautiful creatures are remarkably perceptive! Mine are vividly aware of when I’m packing for a trip. While I’ve never had to clean up poop in this setting, they have partially unpacked my bag twice registering their disapproval. They are extraordinarily perceptive and sensitive! wsc, + Charlie and + azdr0710 1 1 1

My dog also reacts to signals that I might be going out without him, like changing my clothes during the day or even loading my pockets. But he never retaliates by pooping or peeing in the house. His reaction is always to try to hide somewhere, but of course he always chooses the same places, so I have no trouble finding him. wsc and Nue2thegame 2
