I’ve been to Egypt but have seriously considered going back just to visit this museum. It looks pretty spectacular.

I predict when it opens, it will be a mob scene. 
And an "Egyptian Mob Scene" in particular….is something I hope to never experience.
I am dying to go and see it but after a decade of anticipation, it’s gonna be a Cairo shit show. 
It’s such a shame. The beauty and historical significance of Egypt is amazing, but it is rough.

I am planning on visiting a year or so after they finally get it opened, get the bugs worked out,
the hysteria dies down, and no tourists have been mass murdered on the expansive plaza outside.
Even then, it will most likely be just a quick stopover just to see the museum and then get the hell
out of Cairo.
