Thanks for clarifying. This makes a lot more sense in context.

Yeah I often wonder about the whole cops fishing for illegal activity thing, especially online. It’s best to be as prudent as possible and look for hiring or to be hired in the appropriate places. Not hookup apps and the like. Those just are not designed for that, so you’re innately going to get far more of the problem types on both sides of a hiring relationship. Let hookup apps be for…hooking up!

i disagree. I think many of the guys on the "prostitutes for rent" sites are fakes and scam artists.  A big reason for this site is to share info on who's real, who's honest, and who's a scam. There's very little of that in social media and not surprisingly many younger guys do not want to advertise themselves as sluts to fuck for money. I can usually tell within a few texts who is open and who is not to meeting for whatever. They often offer even. Sometimes I'll mention "massage" or if really bold, in Europe, "escort". Rarely do they get very offended if it's polite. social media is simply the way young people communicate now.

Police in Las Vegas were for a while notorious for policing RentMen ads for prostitutes. Also Arlington Virginia across from DC. And Kamala put the owners of BackPage in prison for many years.  Social media is rarely policed for sex-related adult material, just child prostitution.
