Hey guys...I'm considering visiting Boston after my next trip to Philadelphia, and wanted to ask other escorts if this is generally a profitable city to visit, or should I just stick to NYC like I had planned? NOTE, I am posting this in the "Ask an Escort" section because I am looking for practical information and not "Please come to <insert city here>" responses from non-escorts. If Boston is a good place for escorts to visit, where is a good area to stay in that is convenient for the majority of clients? Thanks for your help! :)

Don't worry about getting a "Please come to see me <insert city>"..

NYC has more than enuff Hot Guys, No "Begging" required of outsider's.

I'm thinking as a "Business" Guy, you should watch your "Wording" a little more! It's not Good Business, to "Turn Down" Biz before you even get it. ???

That's the reason, this area doesn't draw alot of Escort "comments", and the Working Guys, should "Definitely" have their own Private area..

"Far from the Maddening Crowd" and "Faux Pas" LOL :7

WOW!! Well stated!

Well, the HAWK's talons were all sharpened and seeking new "eyeballs", but I'll have to sheath them now, as you stated my thoughts so succinctly and beautifully! :)

I'm surprised, though, that someone such as JDFW, with such a stellar rep on this site, posted this!

Love it though, as it seems that most likely that he, as with so many others, names not worth mentioning, although not doing so is so sad, just proves how little respect and most likely how little interaction they have with their clients???? :7

Well apparently I worded my request quite badly! My utmost, sincere apologies.

It's just that, in the past when I've asked questions like that, I had a hard time getting the answers I wanted. I'm never one to turn down friendly requests from someone. In the future...I'll take that extra minute to make sure that my posting portrays what I intend.

Considering I haven't really put my foot in my mouth yet on the message board, can I please have a mulligan? :)

Don't know why you're quoting me, when it was JT who called you out???, and I was just agreeing with him????

Don't ask me for a "mulligan" or anything else, as you don't have to do that!! You don't have to justify your opinion or ask permission to express that opinion from me or anyone else! If this world demands that from you, just because you escort, then fuck the world!

I should apologize to you, as I could have agreed with JT that your posting was less than "pc", without all the added acrimony. Especially, since your postings here and your reviews have always been positive!

Best wishes to you on all your future ventures and interactions!

I don't see anything wrong with Jason's post. He's asking for an escort experience regarding a possible Boston visit. Here you are.

The business was always good for me, advertising only on Rentboy and M4RN.

I've stayed several times in the financial center/downtown, but I found out lately that Back Bay and the Copley Square area is more convenient and more lively. Furthermore this area is closer to the South End. I already mentioned the Jurys Doyle hotel, which I highly recommend but also there are a number of nice hotels around Copley Square.

The metro system is good, although I was most of the time taking cab or walking (there is a reason that Boston is called the Walking City). The Logan airport is very close to the city which is an advantage. There are Delta and United shuttles from La Guardia.

Good luck and feel free to private me if you have any questions, Jason.

I have no comment on the question of whether it's a profitable city to visit or not.

However, in terms of places to stay, you'd be well-advised to locate yourself in the same kinds of areas and hotels being recommended to the other gentleman in the "Boston Hotels" thread in the Lounge.

Basically, the best choice would be to be in Back Bay or one of the immediate surrounding neighborhoods. There aren't many hotels in the South End or Beacon Hill and downtown is dead at night. So look for Back Bay or the theater district or Bay Village and you will be fine.

At least ONE poster to this thread actually addressed the question you asked. :-(

From an observer's POV, Boston is probably a starved market. The traveling escorts who pass through there seem to do so repeatedly, so apparently it's lucrative. From a client's POV, it isn't exactly a Mecca for guys for hire. You may find yourself quite in demand.

I'd think you would do well.

As another client, I will throw my two cents in! For some reason, and there must be one or maybe many, a lot of well-healed gay guys who live and work in Boston have decided they will have their fun in Montreal when it comes to hiring. How else to explain the fact that my neighbourhood in the Gay Village is full of Bostonians who have bought condos and come here at every opportunity they have to be with Montreal's boys!

I think a major reason is that even with the expense of maintaining a second residence, Montreal's escorts and dancers are a relative bargain in dollar terms, although that has diminished somewhat as the exchange rate differential has declined between the two cuurencies.

On the downside, Montreal gets very few US escorts visiting here because clients generally will not pay the rates they charge when the local alternative is so much more attractive financially.

JASON,

I have found Boston by the pier to be an excellent place to visit and the Marriott the down town the best place to meet people.

As for how well you will do, I'm sure a quality person like you who is mature can provide a better experience for upscale men in the Boston area.

I personally know two young guys going to school in Boston who are "scorts"

and both have severe drug problems and I have stopped loaning them money to support their habits, It has hurt our friendship, but they are scamming clients to just support themselves for drugs. Often life goes on....yadda yadda.

Best of luck in your endevours in Boston...... Great place to visit.

Wow. Unbelievable.

Well, I just finished reading all of these posts... funny, not much was mentioned

about Boston ;-)

So, how about taking some advice from someone who lives here as an escort.

It is now the end of March... Boston is finally warming up. This IS a walking city

so it's best to visit when the weather gets better. Walking around the city is fun, I walk

about 5 miles each day and always see something new.

There are tons of historical sites to visit... from Fanueil Hall, to Paul Revere's house, to

the Freedom Trail, to Bunker Hill. And much much more... but only if you're into that

sort of stuff.

Also, there are beautiful and fun museums.... The Museum of Fine Arts (MFA), the

Isabella Stuart Garner Museum, the Museum of Science, to name a few.

Don't forget the New England Aquarium on the harbor and classic Fenway Park in Kenmore

and the beautiful architecture and old world feel of the city as a whole.

Endless possibilities, but all based on your interests.

As far as hotels? Well, I'm the expert. I've been in them all. ;-) Stay away from the

airport, it's a $25 cab ride anywhere. Back Bay and Copley is in the center of it all, and

I'll agree with Steven on this one, it's much more active and fun. The financial district closes on weekends so stay away from hotels there. The theatre district has some good deals and it's close to the Common. Just depends on what you wanna do.

As far as 'business'?... well, it's all in the escort, no?

Hope this helps you out, feel free to drop me a line anytime,

Yours,

-Chris Crawford
