I just got a phone call from the Jerry Springer show asking me to come be a guest on their show. They're doing an "escorts telling their families what they do" episode apparently. Anyone else get a call from them? They told me they found me on this site.

I said no of course. Although I thought about making up a really funny fake family and taking them on with me. :p

Hmmmm….that’s an interesting prospect you sure you don’t want to give this a shot? Perhaps a casting call is in order here. I see plenty of potential from this MC to fill more than one trailer park.

How about the following cast:

Mother…………… ………………….Lucky

Dad…………………… ……………..Deej

Little sister… ……………...Scott Adler

Twin brother………… ……………...Jay Ganymede

Other twin brother.. ........Rick Munroe

Hot jock neighbor....... ....Jackhammer

Eccentric uncle............. ...VaHawk

Foreign exchange student. ..Steven Draker

Maiden Aunt............ ...One Finger

Gladys Kravitz neighbor. ..JT Brooklyn

This being the Springer Show at least a few of those chairs would go flying over the top of the cubicles sooner or later. }(

Or keyboards.

There used to be a video that floated around the net. It showed a chubby, follically challenged middle-aged guy getting more and more frustrated by his computer.

After beating on the keyboard, he used the keyboard to whack the monitor and then shoved the whole works over the cubicle wall.

That might be what it would look like. :p

I have seen that clip its a riot.

Should we be on our best behavior now? I would hazzard a guess that some researcher or intern from the Springer show is monitoring this site trying to find potential guests for the segment.

Its likely those poor guys have had to do some interesting research assignments. However, looking for male escorts on a message center willing to go public on television to their families takes the cake for me.

I would hazzard a guess that they're not the only "outsiders" monitoring this site without making their presence know.

Boy, not quite sure how to take that one. Should I thank you for thinking of me or be pissed as hell?

The mental picture of me in a house dress with curlers in my hair and a slight moustache is rather alarming. Sure hope you meant something else. :+

I come from an Italian family all my aunts have moustaches. :+

It looks like we would fit in perfectly with the Springer show. Hey.....put down that folding chair. }(

While i haven't done Springer, i know people who have. It sounds like a nice (read: FREE) way to see Chicago for a few days and basically just have some fun with the experience.

An old school friend of mine is currently a casting director for the show. She's asked me a couple of times to go on the show for various topics as she knows i'm very comfortable with improv. I honestly never wanted to. That audience is blood-thirsty. Fuggetaboudit.

I'm sure they discussed this with you already, but here's the scoop on the schedule: They tape on Wednesdays, with a rehersal on Tuesday night and a brush-up on Wednesday morning. They film back-to-back episodes.

If you do happen to take them up on it, let us know when your air date is. I wanna see some chair-throwing action. Just make sure to take off a shoe at some point and threaten the audience with it. That's a classic Jerry move :)

The Jerry Springer show has always come across to me, as a rehearsed show, flying chairs and all, so what have I missed as I've never seen any "improv"???
