I live in San Francisco and let me tell you there was a time that SF had some of the hottest escorts.  Sadly, times change and well . . . with some few exceptions, SF is lacking . . .

However, I am heading to L.A./WEHO in a few months for a family visit and looking to treat myself during some free time I will have.  After reviewing the list of available men in just WEHO I could absolutely go broke with the number of exceptional men on display!  It's literally like being a kid in a candy store:  I want that one, and that one, and that one . . . oh him too - and over there . . . sheesh!

Two on the top of my list are Joe DeMatteo and Rainer!  (I've been a fan of DeMatteo's OF and he'e just so sexy.  We've chatted a bit so we've built somewhat of a rapport.)  I just found Rainer today; I am really intrigued by him.  There is an air of mystery without a face pic, which in this case is kind of exciting.

Places have their time in the gay sunshine and then fade. Look at Key West. SF has changed a lot since I used to go there 40 years ago for some gay fun.

South Beach the same story from 30 years ago.

Wow, I wish my lame city had the amount of escort selections San Francisco has. San Francisco has 12 pages of escorts, while my boring southern city doesn’t even have up to a page. I will be relocating  shortly to a more escort heavy hotspot though. I need to be in a place where I can hire who I want, when I want. I don’t do hookup apps, and there is no gay sauna where I live, so my gay sexual experience is very much limited to just hiring. No worse feeling than having money, and not being to treat myself to a great time with an escort, because of lack of selection.

Not to mention Laguna Beach in its heyday.

Oh yes, I have fond memories of Laguna Beach in the early 1980's. The Boom Boom Room and the Little Shrimp. And the great cruising on the beach after dark.

I started hitting the Boom in the mid 90’s. Off the charts fun! Woody’s, which replaced The Little Shrimp, was also fun. I lived 30 years just south of Laguna and it was quite the fun time. The WEHO boys would come down on Memorial Day, the 4th and Labor Day and we’d all comingle at West Beach, followed by drinks and dinner at Mark’s or Shame on the Moon, and then head to the Boom. We OC boys always received invitations to come up to WEHO after being such awesome hosts in OC. It really was the time of my life. So many beautiful boys.

Fifteen years earlier LB had the same vibe described in the mid 90s. Two summers I made an extended stay in August in the town lasting from 2 to 3 weeks. They had a lovely old yellow painted stucco hotel I think just north of the Little Shrimp which backed on the water. Nothing really fancy but comfortable. And in the centre of all the action. You could hear the ocean surf at night when you opened your window.

I met some incredible guys and visited their homes like in San Juan Capistrano.
