Hi. First I'd like to know why escorts prefer not to be contacted via email. I prefer email because it's more discreet, I can be more explicit about my needs, and I don't have to feel pressured into buying something. I imagine escorts get a lot of emails that go nowhere, but that's how I like to do my shopping and hope that escorts will realize its benefits to clients.

Second, my biggest fear in seeing escorts is the disease factor. I am safe but do suck cock. I wonder how many clients feel that they actually got an STD from an escort. It might be hard to know for certain, but I'd just like to hear in general from escorts and clients as to how safe they feel their encounters are.

Thanks!

Well, these questions are easy ones!

First, phone calls are usually the quickest way of contact. Sometimes email exchanges

take a few hours, even days to connect. A lot of escorts don't have access to the internet

24 hours a day... I remember back when I didn't have a laptop and I only checked my email

once a day... now I can check it whenever I want! Another problem with email is, and yes,

again I must say, a LOT of guys don't send their correct email address and/or my replies

get bounced back. Then the client feels like they are being blown off (in a bad way). So,

that's why phonecalls are the most effective way of contact.

As far as STDs are concerned, safe sex is the best practice. However, nothing is a guarantee.

There are a lot of funky things out there that may be contracted orally, but that's the risk you

take in having sex with anyone, not just an escort.

Just be safe and have fun!

Hope that answers your questions.

Yours,

-Chris

>Hi. First I'd like to know why escorts prefer not to be

I think that applies to individual escorts on a case by case basis. Personally I prefer email and even go as far as preventing my phone number from being posted. I think eMail is easier too and I can get in touch with a greater amount of clients this way rather than deal with an abundance of phone messages or missed calls.

>I imagine

>escorts get a lot of emails that go nowhere, but that's how I

It is true however that it's far easier for email inquiries to go nowhere. It's also just generally easier to have something to refer to before a meeting to know what a client is into and confirm that price has been discussed etc.

LOL. Well that question is kind of a double edged sword. I'd almost imagine that escorts get STD's from CLIENTS more often than anything.

The best anyone can do is use condoms 100% of the time and do the best to inspect at risk areas before oral sex. As is part of the job description, a lot of escorts get tested regularly not just for HIV but for the entire gauntlet of diseases. From my readings and what not -- one of the most common is getting Gonnorhea of the throat which presents as strep or just a sore throat.

Shit happens, if you know you have something -- do everyone a favor and reschedule with a DECENT excuse -- sick will work if you dont want to be honest. But don't just not show up -- that's no fun either.

I'm going to assume for a statement like that to have ANY merit the 26 and 45 years were completely exclusive of each other. You mean to tell me that even though you had gotten STD's you're ABSOLUTELY SURE who you got them from? What's your secret? ;)

I don't advertise my phone number, and I prefer those who have it to just send me an email. Between school and social obligations, I like a week's notice anyway, so email allows a better opportunity to make sure we find a great time for both of us and I can make sure I know what he wants.

I think most people consider oral sex without a condom to be an acceptable risk. I'm more worried about the slimies you can get from just skin-to-skin contact.

As a client, I make my first contact with a new escort via email and I always plan far enough in advance that email exchanges can be handled appropriately. If the escort doesn't use email, he is eliminated from consideration. If he cannot write a coherent, thoughtful response in a timely manner, he is eliminated. If his email is genuine, personal, and well-written, I will follow-up with both email and phone contact. I must hear his voice before closing the deal. Deep, sexy, masculine voices are given priority! :9

To my knowledge, I have never contracted an STD from an escort. The guys I hire are known and well-reviewed for their professionalism, cleanliness, and safety. I would feel much more uneasy of contracting a disease orally from a random hook-up rather than a quality Hoo-reviewed escort.

I love rhetorical questions. Unfortunately, you've applied way too much sub- and not enough -text, so your intent is vague. I'm ashamed that I can't read between the *line* on this one.

All of these replies are very helpful. I am comforted to know that several of you never got an STD from an escort. They do seem to take precautions but of course they can not know if the person they saw before you had ghonnorea or whatever.

Interesting too that a fair amount of you use and prefer email, because frequently I get no response from escorts via email.

Thanks all!

IMHO. The Working Guys who are willing to answer simple basic questions via Email, instead of a 3 min Yes and No Phone Call, will be more Truthful in what they will and will not do, basically because they have bothered to put it in writing!

Of course there are those who are "Horney Now" and just Call..

Which can lead to a He said-He said..Scenario!

STD's.. Thank the God's Never...I know Never say Never... :+

What do your emails say?

Emails like "Hi." or "You're Hot" typically don't get responded to as quickly with me. If you dont feel the need to put the time in to write out a serious inquiry then why would you expect the same from the escort.

There are a LOT of people out there that JUST want to talk .... which is fine. Hire a therapist. But chances are if an escort doesn't see something happening as a result of a couple emails they're not likely to pursue it.

There has been some overlap, but most of my truly slutty years were before I started hiring escorts, and that was when I always seemed to pick up STDs. In the past quarter century, I have had sex much less frequently, both for free and for money, and I can pretty definitely connect the few problems in that period to non-escorts.

Really? The center for disease control has statistics that show differently. I will not do your homework and post a link. You have much learning to do and the only way to learn is to do so on your own.

That reminds me of the crazy old couple in Glengarry Glen Ross who just like talking to salesman. John Williamson, the officer manager, coldly says to Shelley after bringing in the contracts signed by the couple: "They're crazy. They just like talking to salesman." Poor Shelley Levene!

Dallas -- please stop assuming this role of father and teacher -- it's really kinda creepy.

You're welcome to do your homework. I referred to escorts and there IS a differentiation in the sociological community. The CDC statistics are looking at it from the POV of prostitution in general. Many escorts are prostitutes, not all prostitutes are escorts.

Secondly, as I posted in response to (what I assume considering the frivolity of your comment which I'm shocked could be duplicated by someone of the intelligence you profess) one of your alter egos on the other board, my statement was "I imagine..." I never made any solid statements.

LOL. Thanks for supporting a point and theory. Please provide your evidence to the mean girls -- they're eager to hear about it :)

"Ricky" was one of the Best I ever Contacted thru email. He answered any questions I had,and mentioned what he also thought would be a Fun time for us Both..He Travels alot but there is no "Burn Out" when you meet this guy..He and also Talvin & Bruno are the BEST of the BEST!!

The "Sounds Good"... Statements leave me wondering about just what we will really have Fun getting into, that some Working Guys usually respond with!

Outside of a large Market, I can understand Hesitancy about what a Working Guy will put in writing, regarding sexual activity... BUT in Major Markets that shouldn't be the case...IMHO of course :+

Scott,

In response to your statement "What do you write".... I agree with many other posters, many many escorts are horrible at returning emails. I ALWAYS put in the RE line Escort Appointment. Then in the body of the letter I ask if they are available usually for a specific day, or ask if they would travel to Florida. Many NEVER respond, respond many days later etc. Perfect example was an email I sent to an escort from Chicago on the 22 NOV. He returned the email on December 5, as though he had received it the day before. I'm looking to take someone on a cruise and was testing the water with him. He obviously "Drowned" by being so prompt. My true feeling is that less than 50 percent of escorts handle any kind of communication in a professional, business like manner. You may handle yours much better, but please don't attempt to speak for many of the others.

I specifically said "with me" up there. I understand your frustration ... it sucks. In their defense, people often have a lot going on in their lives. In my case, if I don't see an immediate need to respond (like an upcoming date or "I wont be available by email after x date) then I am likely to get to it later which unfortunately can pile up quickly. Usually the LONGEST I take to respond would be a week. I'm not "speaking for" the others, just trying to offer an explanation as to what the situation could be from my own experience.

Last I checked this was "Ask an Escort." ;)
