The Anthropology Museum in Mexico City

This is one of the truly great museums in the world. You could easily spend days here. The exhibits are breathtaking.

was there in early 2019......it's a must-do when in CDMX and is, as @foxy says, among the best museums in the world.....overwhelming displays and colossal history......I'm sure I didn't know what I was looking at much of the time......and, as @Peter Eatersays, the outdoor restaurant is good, though not cheap by local city standards.......US$5 admission and free on Sundays (take THAT Museum Of Broadway!!)

for anybody planning a visit, possibly combine it with a walk thru Chapultepec Park across the street and Chapultepec Castle....well, hell, I could go on and on about what to combine it with.....the city is incredible.....
