Do you hire masseurs on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

I hired one yesterday while vacationing. I simply asked him for his "days of operation through middle of next week" and he listed X-mas eve as an operating day, so I saw him that day. I gave him my "usual" tip amount and he let me know that he was appreciative. Since he operates from his home studio, he has a low overhead. Had his deep tissue kneading skills been better, I would have tipped more accordingly as I usually do. I have tipped well above 20% for masseurs that have superb deep kneading skills.

I would have loved to have treated myself as I was alone this year.

One regular is out of the biz and I'm erring on the side of caution given COVID.

My big fear would be to meet someone who'd kill me and then, it'd be in the papers -- Man Dies by Killer Masseur During Lonely Christmas Eve Massage

I tip EVERYONE generously during Christmas.

Doesn't matter what religion they follow ( or don't ).

Doesn't matter if they are celebrating or not.

It's a time to celebrate family. Both blood relatives and your chosen clan.

So where's mine?
